Sarnano
Has anyone found a rear bumper sill protector for a '15? I've ordered 2 from amazon, spec'd for 2015/2016, but didn't match the curve of the bumper. Had one on my 2011, easy to find back then. jmr061
Are you looking for OEM or aftermarket? Mine came with an OEM. You should be able to get a part # for it off of accessories.ford.com. If aftermarket then I would have to search around.
Hermans
I bought the OEM and it covers very little. Here's an existing thread. I bought the one from Amazon. Edited August 27, 2016 by Hermans
Tronjo
Has anyone considered or tried this one: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Rear-Bumper-Protector-sill-plate-trim-fit-for-FORD-EDGE-2015-2016/222221332517?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140620091118%26meid%3D8ae11c690ec1434b85873bc42c775348%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D172245341479

enigma-2
Two things I don't like about it, first it's too expensive, and second don't like the fact that it displays a highly reflective surface on the rear that will reflect headlights and sunlight. Tronjo
Thank you for your opinion. It is not not more expensive that the OEM one and any other. I also don't think it is "highly" reflective as some Mercedes OEM stainless steel which are literary mirror-polished. This one seems to be more like a scattering surface. What I really like is that it is thin and it covers the edge. There are other out there from rubber that also cover the edge, but from the pictures I have seen they look to be pretty thick. I'm not sure though that this one will fit properly.
enigma-2
Would something like this trip your trigger? https://www.amazon.com/2015-2016-Ford-Bumper-Protector-Guard/dp/B018F52ZD6 Here's a stainless one that wraps for under $60 https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32730386521.html#autostay Edited September 15, 2016 by enigma-
enigma-2
It is not not more expensive that the OEM one and any other. I would question that. Here's an OEM protector for just over $60.http://parts.showalterford.com/ford/edge/ft4z17b807a/2016-year/sport-trim/2-7l-v6-gas-engine/exterior-cat/covers-and-protectors-scat/?part_name=bumper-protector-rear
Tronjo
Thanks enigma-2. I didn't find this one, probably because I was not looking for the OEM version. I had it on my previous generation Edge and from personal experience I may say that it is a joke. It does not protect the most vulnerable part of the bumper. the stainless still one from you link is for the 2011-2014 model and maybe that is why it is cheaper. Up to now I didn't find anything suitable below $75.
Sarnano
I bought the one recommended by Hermans. Found it on Amazon. It fit fairly well, but did not conform to the little 45 degree cut on the edge of the bumper. Regarding the SS one questioned by Tronjo; I bought one on Amazon, looked same as this. It DID NOT fit at all. The curve was different that the bumper. Seller refunded me.
