Jclewis84 Posted February 20, 2020 Report Share Posted February 20, 2020 Quick question, bought a new 2019 ST, installed the Ford pass app and have no problems remote starting that way. Reading through the manual, the fob in the pictures there has an extra button to remote start, but my fobs are missing that button all together. Is this an option I failed to buy, or did the dealer just give me cheap fobs and I need to buy upgraded ones? How can I tell? Trying to get to the bottom of this little mystery. omar302 Posted February 20, 2020 Report Share Posted February 20, 2020 As per the 2019 Ford Edge Order Guide, for the ST, remote start is not standard. It is part of the "Convenience Package" and 401A package. One telltale to know if you have either, do you the 110V AC Power Outlet? Lunar_ST Posted April 22, 2020 Report Share Posted April 22, 2020 I too discovered this issue with our 2019 ST we bought on Saturday; we can remote start through app but not with fob.
