I removed the ST badge and had to modify the camera mount as one of the posts on the grill to screw down the camera mount bracket was off. Camera is solid but I will be more confident once I drive it some. The grill fit pretty well and the emblem mount is spot on. 22CarbGrayElite Posted October 26 Author Report Share Posted October 26 I don’t care for a lot of chrome and while the look of the Elite grill was OK, I have always liked the Ford honeycomb performance look grills. My old grill will probably find its way on to my daughter’s SEL if she wants it. If not I will save it. And got a slightly smaller Ford emblem. The non ST and ST line Edges got a 9” Ford emblem where the ST and ST lines got the 7.75” emblem. I can’t help but stare at it more when I glance at it. I'd imagine the proportions feel more balanced without that big chrome ring taking over. Funny how many of us will just drive past our vehicle in a parking lot and glance back at it. That seems like a good sign that the change is worth it. As for the badge, I can see both sides. Some like keeping that recognition on the car, while others prefer the cleaner look without it.
