Hi all

I do mostly city driving with my 2011 MKX AWD and average 21 Litres per 100 KMs (in Canada of course)

When I do highway driving (went to toronto a few weeks back), it goes down to around 12L/100KMS

Does that sound about right ??

Seems way off from fords marketing for city/highway claims

Just curious what other owners are getting

Thanks

That sounds kinda high for city driving to me.

I have a 2011 Edge FWD(3.5L engine and Front Wheel Drive) , and I do 70 % highway 30% city driving, and my average is between 10/100 Kms 11/100 KMS and if it's purely highway I've seen it as low as about 8.0 or 8.5L/100 KMS.

Overall not to shabby considering it's a heavy vehicle.

My Overall average since buying the car 9/10 months ago is about 11 L/100kms and I have about 18000 kms on the car now.

I have the same expenditure in the city and in the country. Climatic conditions as in Canada. I am surprised as on AWD receive the expenditure of 12 liters on 100 km? !
