perhaps you have programmed the mykey thing which allows different settings for different drivers? both my keys are admin, just a thought..

I ordered my card, received it the next day and installed the update on my drive home from work last night. I was previously on 3.2.2. Install took approx 45 mins, prior to the update I removed the old nav card (a3) and USB (with my music). I performed a master reset (to be on the safe side) then inserted the Usb with the update. Drove home (approx 45 mins) install completed (there were 3 reboots during install), I did a new master reset after the update, and inserted the NAV (a4). System is working and appears to be working normally. Entering nav destinations seems faster, GPS lock after parking indoors(garage) seems to take longer (1-2 mins) Indexing my USB music approx 1700 songs took 3 mins for indexing and building media commands. Overall not much changed but only time will tell. I have a very early 2011 edge (I got it in Oct 2010)

Seems to be a common problem, mine shows be in the bush every once while, usually it corrects itself in a few mins. Waiting for the new A4 card to upgrade MTF to the newer version, hopefully it will correct that problem. MV

I thought I read somewhere to try disconnecting your Bluetooth cell if you have one connected. I haven't tried it myself, but it may help.

Sorry I cannot comment on other blades which work, however I have a 2011 Ford Edge, and I had a bird bomb on the windshield. In my haste to remove it, I sprayed the windshield with a hose, and used a car wash brush to remove the bomb, however it was stuck on pretty good, I figured it's glass and used the edge of the car wash brush to scrape it off, and while I got the stuff of, it left a whole wack of find scratches on the windshield around 8 inch's square... I've been living with it for a while, I guess it will take a windshield replacement to fix it.. Just wanted to comment your not the only one with windshield scratches, not sure if its soft or normal.

Its cause there's a Sirius trial going on, I think it ends Sept 11th, 2012 I haven't updated and all mine say Subscribed except radio, and yes the radio works, but tells me i'm unsubscribed.. I tried some of the travelink stuff, however most of it isn't working in the GTA. i.e. weather shows buffalo NY. M.

Looks great, Any opinion on System X? Applied to to my 2011 Edge a few weeks ago, Very easy on/off however not sure on a comparison between CQ and OG/OC. I just cleaned and coated no correction, so it was just a couple of hours of time. M.

Any reason to use Zep Purple vs Zep citrus? I've cleaned mine a couple of times with Zep Citrus 4:1 I haven't noticed any problems.

I had my fronts done to 35%, its lighter than the factory but, its the darkest allowed where I live. M.

Mine did that after a couple of weeks, what I did was use the nav once, and now its back.. not sure if it just needed a kick, I basically asked it to navigate to my home, and then cancelled the route after it started. Now it's back.. much faster/easier than pulling the fuse, or doing a mster reset. M.

if it's playing from USB when I shutdown the car, next time I start up it continues from USB. a whole lot faster than the old system. Before I would wait 30-50 secs before the usb started playing, now it's almost instant. M.

Got my package Friday, installed on saturday, did a master reset before the upgrade just to ensure things went ok, took approx 50-55 mins total, did a master reset after just for the heck of it. Paired 2 phones, so far it's ok, haven't tried the nav yet, however playing music off USB is much quicker now. Indexing took less than a minute for 1500 songs, and building voice commands was done before the 1st song stopped playing. M.

I think the shipment dates are all over the place, some ppl said march 5-6, some said march 12, some march 19th, some april 2nd.. I don't think there is any proof that any of the dates are accurate, until someone actually gets a package in the mail in Canada, we can't really be sure the mailings have started. M.

I actually picked up mine in oct 2010, I did get a postcard about the update(much later than most of the ppl who reported it online) , but no sign of the package, haven't called or bothered a dealer yet, I am currently on 2.11 but did take it into the dealer once to upgrade from 1.8 to 2.7 before I self installed the 2.11 update. Have had some issues minor, mostly looking forward to the updated maps and the faster speed. oh and i'm in Canada so we seem to be at least a month or so behind the u.s. folks. M.

On my 2011 LTD if the washer fluid is low, there is a message on the left side of the ode looks like a picture of the windshield and you have to press ok to get rid of it. M.

Wasn't this a problem with the old version too? I though I read the fix was to disconnect the battery for 30 mins, reconnect with line of sight to the sky and it will sync up with the satellites? M.

Nothing in the GTA either, and I'd rather wait for a package then download and lose Nav. M.

is it possible your wheels are a different size? the larger the wheel the smaller the gap will look. you can have 18, 20, or 22's. M.

I think the 1st 5-10 mins to kick off the install you should remain parked, however you can drive for the rest of the update from what I have read. So kick off the install and drive to wherever, as long as it's about a 45-min to hour drive I can complete it on my drive to work one morning once I get the package. M.

2.11 is the newest version prior to the performance upgrade. I think your confusing the versions due to 2.7 looks like a newer version but it's actually older. you can think of 2.7 and 2.8 as 2.07 and 2.08 so 2.11 is higher. M.

My gaps seem to be fine, however when looking through the mirrors and the chrome window trim on the limited they look slightly out of alignment however you never notice if your standing outside the car. M.
