That being twice as much snow as I've ever seen at one time in my life and having to shovel it, I'm thinking Houston would be a good place to live.

With FWD and 15 inches of snow, not so good. After shoveling my driveway off, I got struck trying to get into the street. Once that was cleared and onto the street where there was a bit less snow due to traffic already on it, I've experienced no issues.

Your factory default should have come a plastic card inside your folder with your manual. I just keep the card in my wallet.

Mine is reporting right where I last set it and it's about 800 miles behind.

Mine is 2.4 but like you, I did it myself while it was on the site. Maybe they should just release them all to the public and let us take care of ourselves, I think we're doing a better job than the dealers.

This is where I'm a bit confused by all of this. My dealer did my update back in December and everything is fine. There haven't been any announced dealer updates that I'm aware of since that time and my system is running well. So this claim about a new update since they downloaded the last one seems at best a bit lame on the dealers part. I suppose I would question the dealers competency and be a bit apprehensive about letting them do a simple oil change.

I think I have activated the flasher on this car more than I have all the cars I've previously owned, combined. When doing something on the screen, my pinky has a habit of landing in just the right spot.

Toss me into the old group on this one. While I firmly believe that loud pipes save lives when it comes to motorcycles, in my cage, I want quiet.

I got my first taste of it in winter conditions, certainly not like some of you, just a layer of ice then 2 to 3 inches of snow on top. My FWD did great.

Move south, it'll fix that issue and living in negative degree temps... brrr....

But don't the nights in Alaska last a really long time?

They'll send you an email asking for you to confirm you want the fix, I received mine the next day after my post. Once confirmed it took one more day to get the zip file.

I didn't have the Lincoln logo either but he did say it was because we had the Lincoln scheme.

I just posted a thread in the Sync forum about how you can get the ambient lighting fixed.

If you're one of the folks who's experiencing the ambient lighting issue where the green and blue are reversed and would like to get it fixed, head on over to the ford owner to owner forum, there is a Sync specialist there named Mike who fixed me up. He emailed the fix to me today, I loaded it up, only took a few seconds and then a reboot and every things fine now. In his email he said the reboot procedure was specific to my vehicle so I won't upload here what he sent me but you can ask for it just the same as I did there. Here's the link to the thread. Link

I've only had mine for a month now but I couldn't be happier, and to think, when I first started shopping a new vehicle, I was shopping pick-ups.

I tried this with my motorcycle and it didn't make a bit of difference in my mileage.

Since the last update, I've not noticed the issue again. I've been trying to get it to do it so I could see if it was the same songs skipping but it's been working great lately.

Didn't take long to install either, hope it does something valuable.

Trapster app for your smartphone will give you alerts to those.
