I understand a lot about troubleshooting, problem resolution and root cause analysis thanks to 33 years in IT. I’ve solved many software and hardware problems. If following the severe service maintenance schedule prevents the problem from occurring then that is a solution even if you don’t like it.

Not worth moving. Most repairs should clear the CEL automatically. Some require multiple ignition/driving cycles. If it doesn't go off on its own in a few days go get the codes read again. -
It’s a ridiculous idea and an unnecessary risk. You can get an extractor for $25 or just suck on the hose.

There are many owners who have over 250k miles on the original water pump, so it is possible. They’re not going to redesign and replace your engine so if changing the coolant every 30k miles prevents the problem then I don’t see the big issue. Is it a slight inconvenience - yes. It SOLVES the problem, it just doesn’t do it the way you want.

You can diagnose wheel bearings usually by just jacking up one wheel at a time and spinning it. Just be sure to have the wheels chocked and the parking brake on while you're doing the fronts. -
If it prevents the problem for 250K miles then it's far more than a band aid solution by any definition.

You just put the selector in S mode and then use the paddles. At that point it will only shift when you use the paddles (manual mode).

Not directly but lack of airflow can cause the coil to ice up blocking airflow.

I only expect it to attempt to maintain set speed. Nowhere does it guarantee it will keep the set speed under any circumstance. Your expectations are not realistic in some cases. -

That was written assuming all Edges had selectshift transmissions. They didn't update the manual when they took out that option. All they needed to do is add (if equipped), which wouldn't change anything in this argument. None of that negates the fact that you chose to purchase a vehicle without selectshift. If you're forced to ride the brakes for extended periods you should use common sense and stop and let the brakes cool off. Some areas have enforcement officers that check your brakes with an IR gun and will force you to let them cool off. NHTSA doesn't care because it's not a safety issue. Ford doesn't care because they never said that selectshift was included on FWD vehicles. Deal with it or trade it. Those are your choices. Continuing to whine about it will get you nowhere. -

My F150 has non adaptive cruise control. I expect to be able to set a speed, resume a speed, increase and decrease the set speed and turn it on and off. If my F150 did not come with selectshift I would not assume I could manually select and hold a lower gear. -
What is it about the automatic climate control that you both dislike? I keep hearing this from people including my daughter but I don't understand it. How are you using it?

I don't care whether the servos are overheating or the brakes are overheating or what it says in the manual. None of that changes the fact that you didn't do your due diligence and bought the wrong vehicle (for you) and now you're trying to turn it into a NHTSA safety issue which is ridiculous. -
A softer but still easily audible alert would be fine. But in the Escape scenario would not shutting the driver's door eliminate all the other honks? If not why not just shut it off temporarily? My point is there are simple workarounds to avoid the double honk if you don't like it but that still provide that warning when you do need it.

That's really not necessary to keep up this back and forth arguing. Waldo summed it up: It sucks but it's not a safety issue and you bought it without doing due diligence. Either live with it or trade it. -
It’s not useless. Picture a couple with the wife driving. She leaves her fob at home accidentally but husband has his so no problem. She drops him off at work and goes to her job. Now she can’t restart the car without a fob. Or if she does see the warning and restarts it within twenty seconds she has to go back to her husbands job to get the fob. With a double honk that doesn’t happen. its also very easy to prevent it by just not closing the door. If you don’t think that would ever happen to you then fine but there is a good reason for it and I personally I want that feature for the situation I described.
