It's either the battery terminal connection that needs to be cleaned (use a baking soda/water mixture then rinse very well to get rid of the corrosion, then remove and clean the terminals) or the battery itself. Did you check the battery fluid level? Ours was toast a few months ago (also an 08) and we had to replace the battery. Charging won't help if the cells are dead.

Wheel bearing? I think I have the same problem. It's fairly common - try the search function.

It's just the 202A package which includes everything in the 201A package. Nav was optional not standard but if you have the SD card then you should have Navigation. You should have a navigation menu option (map/destination/etc.).

Torque Converter might not be unlocking. I'd have the dealer check it. What year/model?

Rumor is a new stable update due within the next 2 months and the fully rewritten version either at the end of this year or early next year - not clear yet. But if the next release really fixes the major problems then it won't be a big deal. If not then you certainly have a right to keep complaining.

I suspect it's just frozen in place. Might just need a whack from a BFH.

Nobody here has reported success and the Ford employees are still saying it's not available. I suspect all available resources have been put into fixing the bugs and rewriting MFT and they haven't gotten around to making it a stand alone option that the dealer can install.

That's totally wrong. The X plan price is $34,025. $1500 rebate sounds right but it's hard to tell. With X plan you'll get all available incentives so don't worry about that. Just make sure the dealer runs it through VINCENT.

Nobody is making excuses. Ford does appear to be "stepping up" - it's just taking them longer to get all the bugs worked out than they thought. It's 100% Ford's fault and they screwed up royally. But they appear to be doing everything possible to get the problems fixed. If you've never done large complicated software projects then you probably don't understand. Ford even admitted they should have waited a year. But that's water under the bridge now.

The master reset deletes everything in memory. Pulling fuse 29 does not. There is a difference.

It's perfectly normal although some cars are worse than others. Just crack open another window to equalize the pressure.

If you have a PIN you can look up X plan prices for in stock vehicles and get x plan pricing from the build your own feature when you access it through the pin website. But the dealer must show you the actual factory invoice with the X plan price clearly marked.

Because they won't cover a part out of warranty? It was your choice when you bought the car to keep the factory warranty or buy an extended warranty. If you chose not to buy the extended warranty then you have nobody to blame but yourself. It's like choosing not to buy a moonroof and then complaining that Ford didn't give you a moonroof.

Do you have the 5/60 powertrain warranty or just 3/36? Are you out of warranty completely or are they saying this isn't part of the transmission?
