If you want to take the ferry over to Port Jefferson (NY) there is a fantastic dealer for service. I have been going to RAMP Ford on Rt 347 for close to 20 years. My 2011 Edge was leased from another dealer however because the Salesperson didn't do the right thing. My 2007 Edge was leased at Ramp, My previous Merc Sable and before that my purchased 2001 Taurus were from other dealers. I always went to Ramp for the service department however Needless to say very happy with them I'm sure you can find an honest service center in CT., keep looking

Pretty sure something was mentioned on one of the forum topics here. Plus Cnet Roadside Assistance was talking about the update with one revision being items on the screen in bolder type.

I heard September is the month for a major update. We shall see

Why is it so difficult to have the software sent to the US? I guess the keeping sales from the US to Canada make sense BUT then again it seems easy enough once in Canada to have them turned on. Frustrating!!

You said it was purchased in the US. Is that where the DRL's were activated?

Like many cars the amber lights are brighter than "parking lights", they are double filament like the turn signal brightness

Can you give us the name and location of the dealer so we may have our dealer contact them. Sounds promising

When I start my Limited by the factory remote only the parking lights and LED's go on. Once I am in the vehicle and press the start button the headlights will go on. Presuming it is dark enough to activate them. I'm in the US if that helps any

FYI My son has a brand new 2011 Ram truck with a sticker of 43,000.00. He spent 3 hours at Dodge trying to get his iPod to work. Finally after 3 hours he was told they had to contact Chrysler because they didn't have a fix for it. He tried his iPod on the truck in the showroom and it worked. Next step is to have the head unit replaced IT'S NOT JUST FORD WE JUST CAN'T KEEP UP WITH TECHNOLOGY

Are you saying there is an option I need to turn onto get that type of rear view setting. My Limited just has the typical straight colored outer lines but nothing like is shown in the pictures I posted (boxed across the rear) Thanks

My Screen just died this morning. I dropped it off at Ford to have it repaired/ updated so will let you know. Meanwhile they gave me a 2011 loaner SEL that has a different center consol layout then my Limited. The loaner only has 1000 miles on it Seems to be more actual controls separate from screen plus the rear view camera visual aid is updated I couldn't find which version is on the loaner. My iPhone works fine with it however

Welcome You will love your new Edge. I had both a 1985 and then a 1986 black Monte SS back in the day. Loved the cars and had a lot of fun with them. My 85 went back to the dealer because of bad paint so I upgraded to the '86. Only changes were the wheels, mirrors, and radio Have fun with your new ride

Hello I ran a Vehicle Health Report today on my 2011 Edge. The report stated I need to see the dealer for service because the vehicle brake light was shown to be on. I am thinking because I ran the report while my parking brake was activated that it gave a false positive. Anyone get this while running a report? The report suggests I run another report with the P brake off. I know that I don't have a brake issue but it could make someone run back to the dealer for no reason Just a heads up
