Touching a button or turning a knob isn't that much different. Touching a button may actually be quicker AND safer. As they say... to each their own. No one is forcing anyone to buy it

With all the issues that the MFT is having I think you may see a whole new redesign within a couple of years. Look at what Cadillac is coming out with next year. Truly amazing tech that appears to work as intended Cadillac CUE

Like most or all states that use cameras it is a fine only. No points because they simply don't know who the driver is.

Edged out Is the dealership doing the work or are they sending it out to a auto-body repair shop? Seems to me you should take it to a reputable repair facility and have them tell you whats wrong. Even if it costs you 100.00 for a written estimate you will have piece of mind plus you will get any money laid out back if they find fault with the repairs made Good luck

Just had the 2.11 update installed yesterday. Things seem faster so far and overall working well. This morning I found I still have the case of the missing or invisible station presets. The box is just blank or sometimes it will be red without the wording. However if you click on it the station still comes on. Another thing that hasn't been addressed is the "ICE" input information for the phones 911 call to info. Most of the phonebook remains unavailable. Maybe just an iPhone thing?

Mine works as described in the manual. Lock, remote start twice. Should be no need to unlock doors first

The My Temp is set to 70 but at times I get in the car and after starting it goes to 60. Other times I need to set it to 76 degrees and it still feels too cold. Something is off, either me or the MFT (if MFT is responsible for the climate control)

Has anyone found that the automatic climate control is inconsistent? I will set it to 72 degrees one day and when I restart the car the temp may have to be raised or lowered. I think MFT is somehow screwing things up. I have had several cars with auto climate control, the last being my 2007 Edge SEL+. I didn't have any issues with any of them. Very annoying and I would like to know if this is MFT related or a separate issue Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum I have an 11 Limited AWD and am quite happy with it. Not crazy about the recurring trips back to the dealer for software updates BUT hopefully a stable version of MyFord Touch will be out soon. Everything works on mine just needs some tweaking Good luck to you and I hope you find what you like

You do not need an app to access it. I have an iPhone and found you need to click on "full view" or something along those lines when accessing this forum on your phone

Before 10,000 miles or 1 year, whichever comes first. I think 10,000 miles is stretching it. Cheap insurance for your engine would be to change it every 5,000 miles. I have the dealer do it for 34.00

I see you come from Georgia but the only way DRL's can be turned in a 2011 is either a fleet purchase or you need to have a Canadian shop do it. Everyone has been told the computers in the US do not have an option for turning DRL's on or off. For models 2010 and older they can. I had my old 2007 Edge DRL's turned on Maybe I misread and you do not have a 2011 but then again you say you have the LED's. If successful please give me your dealers name and phone number OK? Thanks
