Same here. But I do believe these salesman only know what we know. They sure made it sound like a simple software update on the Ford site news

I found this on Fords site. Anyone know just what hardware and cost would be? I thought it was going to be a software update Note: Apple CarPlay is available on 2017 model year Ford vehicles with compatible SYNC 3. Owners of 2016 model year Ford vehicles with SYNC 3 are required to perform a software upgrade and purchase a hardware upgrade to use Apple CarPlay. Please check back on the Ford Owner site this summer for more information about these upgrades

I should have them tomorrow. They only offer the digital fit for Edge. I emailed Ford and they replied. They " say" they will follow up on the Ford OEM fit issue

They're the correct mats unfortunately. I just ordered Weathertech

Yes, Lincoln is full size. I wonder if the rear fit better also? I may stop down to check it out

And the back is too big, bunches up over the driveline hump behind console

Ok great. Thanks! I'm on Edge number 4 and previous models up to 2014 had pretty good all weather mats. My 2016 mats are horrible, I even emailed Ford. The drivers mat is a little square piece that doesn't go under the pedals and the rear mat is too big, very poor fit Thanks again

I have 2 sets of All Weather Ford original mats front and second row for 2011-2014 model year. Both sets really good condition plus a year old cargo liner ( always covered with moving pad ) . These don't fit my 2016 Must be able to pick up on Long Island Both sets and rear cargo liner 60.00 firm

I guess you have the digital laser fit mats. The standard all weather mats aren't available. Is there a coupon or savings to get front, rear , and cargo area?

According to Weathertech the 2016 mats aren't available yet. I figured they would be the same as the 2015 model year

The all weather mats for the 2011-2014 model years were a great fit. I'm surprised Ford didn't catch this. Disappointed and I may go the Weathertech route

Going from a 2011 and 2013 Edge to a 2016 model. I must say the fit of the second row mat and cargo liner were a much better fit for the 2011-2014 models. My 16 has a driveline hump in the second row, something the previous models didn't. Plus the OEM cargo liner seams just a tad to wide. If anyone on Long Island needs a rear cargo liner and all weather mats for 2011-2014 let me know. If you pick them up I'll give you 2 sets of mats plus 1 cargo liner for 75.00. All in perfect condition

On 2016 Sync 3 the POI is buried in the settings menu. Under Map preferences click on POI than when I backed out the POI menu was there. Like before you can pick 3 choices. All's good Thanks

Thanks aKirby I know with MFT I could choose a few POI's like fuel, restaurants, etc and the icons would stay on the map. I'll play with it further Thanks again

I can't seem to find how to add gas stations and such to my Sync 3 nav screen. Or do you need to set a destination first? Thanks

FYI YOU can no longer send an address to your car if you have Sync 3 but I'm thinking a possible update will resolve that. It will be getting Apple CarPlay or Android plat by end of the year so that in itself will fix it

With MFT the Ford Destinations app worked quite well for me in sending destination to the car. Another app called " Send to car" worked well up until about a year ago and they had to pull it Using Mapquest on your computer you may still be able to send a destination to your car. Once in the car you need to access services and the address should be recalled

Sync 3 phone contacts with address can indeed be set as destination. Works quite well. Using the cars screen of course just go to contacts, click on the address, and it will ask if you want it set for destination. Something MFT should of had. It also takes full street addresses through voice commands quite well like aKirby said

Is it still possible to send an address to the car like you did with MyFord Touch? I tried saying " Services" but said phone had to be hooked up Thanks

The 14's on dealers lots got the 3.7 upgrade but it was first made available to everyone and than quickly pulled. Not sure why

If I remember right 2013 models and older didn't get 3.7. Went from 3.6 to 3.8
