  1. Well, here's the problem... I don't care about making money on them. They are time consuming, though, and I'm pretty anal about results. Perhaps if we could get 2 or 3 folks with the same color at the same time, it'd be less of a bitch. And the parts are cheap. 2 nozzles is about $14. The primer, paint, and clear is about $20. I'll do masking tape for free. Shipping and packing materials, about $7, So it really wouldn't be much. I've done the cargo floor and hood so far, just as other things in those areas have come up. Both have been a great difference for an already quiet vehicle. I have 2.5 more bulk packs in the garage for when I get time to do it all.
  2. Yeah, I ran all the radar detector wires through the bottom of it.
  3. Yes. Much less tinny, and less road noise. Joe, I airbrushed them. I've already ordered a couple new ones as back-ups. You pay materials and shipping and I'll shoot them for you.
  4. I did the ones on my '07 Sport Trac, and 4 years later, when I sold it, they still matched the hood perfectly and looked great. I use actual Ford paint and clearcoat.
  5. I'm going to paint the blue part of the front one Tuxedo Black, and I'll paint the blue part of the rear one white.
  6. That's not a horrible idea, but I doubt anyone would buy them...
  7. Thank you! They're held in with a plastic barb in front and back. A gentle squeeze frees them right up. The hardest part was all of the paint mixing and clean-up.
  8. Before: Masked and primed: First coat: After 4 coats and then clear: Done: While the hood was up, I threw a little Dynamat on there, too. Thoughts?
  9. Aww, shut it. Yours aren't metallic, though. My Sport Trac was dark blue, so I didn't have to color-match the emblems.
  10. Just curious... Is anyone else horribly bothered that they're not color-matched, or am I just too anal? I just painted mine and am waiting for them to dry now. Next, comes the emblems, but not today.
  11. I had no problems 'til 2.11. Apparently, 4 files didn't get updated. Ford did that. Now, as long as I usb reboot it every couple days, the only problem I have is that I always have a back button.
  12. I don't want to buy it, but I'd love to hear it as well.
  13. Not me. I was at Officemax at 141 and Mathis Airport. That one is actually a ford executive here this week for training. Nice guy.
  14. McGinnis Ferry's widening project moved the eastbound lanes about 40 feet south of where they are. It shows me on-screen running parallel to the street. When I'm westbound, it puts me on the street. The distances are bizarrely accurate, as well.
  15. Mine is sniper-grade accurate.

  17. Hmmmmmm. Anyone have a picture of the bottom, so I don't have to go rip mine out of the car?
  18. Some people run yours with k40 diffusers or blinder jammers. By the way, have you seen this yet? Sounds like a pretty cool idea to me.
  19. They come with it, but the install isn't something for just anyone to do. I don't know where you live, but if you really want one, let me know. I'm a dealer and their prices are WAY higher than what I pay.
  20. Here's where I put them in my Sport Trac:
  21. No, and I have a permacool 8-pass oil cooler here that I could sell cheap. I'm thinking $250+shipping. http://shop.perma-cool.com/Serpentine-Competition-Coils-Only-8-Pass-1-2-FPT-415.htm
