  1. I put the same one in my Edge, but I didn't like the angle, so it's gone now.
  2. I agree that you should go to a pro unless you're very experienced. I disagree on the computer-cut vs. hand cut. Sometimes there are variations in weatherstripping, etc. that necessitate adjustment.
  3. Well, I've done zero official testing and it seems to be comparable to the OEM antenna through daily use. http://www.amazon.com/MINI-Cooper-Genuine-Factory-65202179727/dp/B004X6K6BU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1326560591&sr=8-1
  4. Yeah, but those don't have half the reception. They're usually a short machined piece of metal, instead of a calculated half-wave or quarter-wave coil, like the OEM antennas. That's why I spent months going from dealership to dealership, test-fitting antennas from different car companies.

  6. They probably thought you just meant the keyless entry keypad.
  7. No it's not an option. It's included. This takes me back to the vanity mirror comment. You really need a hobby.
  8. I didn't pay Ford a penny extra for HD radio. Nobody else has, either.
  9. It's not a personal attack. What that I posted was personal OR an attack? I called it how it is, and you verified it. The point that I was making is that it's not an earth-shattering topic. I personally have never had a problem with HD radio, but even if it disappeared tomorrow, there's still FM, AM, Sirius, CD, and USB that supports hard drives, ipods, etc. There's even an auxiliary input that you can plug anything into that you'd like. I'm just tired of people trying to find loopholes to sue others. If you don't like the HD radio, turn it off.
  10. That is a link to one attorney. It's the one that I think the dude works for. A simple google search can show you a number of forums that a user from "Maryland" has gone into, made an account, and posted the same misleading info and links to that attorney. His username with .com after it is a blog pointing people to that same attorney. I also want to point out that the service bulletins that that dude refers to and the attorney's site refer to are telling dealerships how to troubleshoot cars that are having reception issues. Let's say we all join a class-action suit over HD radio. It'll settle out of court, and we'll all get our checks for 7 cents or something ridiculous. The one that'll profit is the attorney handling the suit, including insane fees and expenses. I don't use my vanity mirrors. Let's all sue Ford for making us pay for them. Get real. *eyeroll*
  11. I felt it once and it was my dog "marking" my back.
  12. Yeah, my wife insists on the gaudy ostentatious ones, too. Mine are just simple metal Oakleys. On that note, am I the only one that gets pissed when my passengers (her) flip down the sun visors? It's partially that I'm just anal about symmetry, but I'm also 6'4". It blocks half of my damn view! I mentioned this, and she got mad at me for "wanting" sun in her eyes. I pointed out that uncomfortable eyes were preferable to a detached head, and that maybe she should actually wear the sunglasses on her eyes and not just use them as a hair accessory. Yeah, in retrospect, I should've just wrecked.
  13. Do you not have the sunglass-holder-thingie in the overhead console?
  14. The rear center stack compartment fits a Glock 26 nicely.
  15. heh... I looked her up on facebook first.
  16. Try just calling them. I did, and they gave me a young hottie that calls me once a week or so to try to keep me happy. She also gave me a 5-year, 75k mi. ESP for free. 800-392-3673
