  1. I had zero problems with 2.8. 2.11 is a dirty whore.
  2. It's freezing at the nozzle. Common on Fords that are parked outside. The wind does it, and then the engine heat melts it.
  3. There are two knock sensors. Regardless of your chosen fuel, the PCM advances timing until it detects a knock and then backs back off a bit. The V6s in the Edge do the same thing.
  4. Ford likes to use giant blocks of foam. You should've seen the one between the intake manifold and block on my 4.6 3V. It had to be close to a cubic foot.
  5. The external drive I bought is supposedly everythingproof.
  6. You can use 2 devices. It labels them USB1 and USB2. Browse only goes through whichever source you have active at that time.
  7. I want a roof rack because I have a gigantic Yakima box to put on it. I want something that doesn't clamp to painted parts, though. Damn you, BAMR!
  8. 10 make stuff work 20 repeat 10 30 end I can move the turtle, too! Bring it on!

    Theft Alarm??

There is no alarm. Coincidentally, I'm selling one in the classified section.
  10. Mine has done it twice, but I figured out why. If I shut it from the push button in the back and then get in the driver's seat before it's most of the way down, it reopens. Must be some safety mumbo-jumbo.
  11. Ouch. And I've had 7 sets of wheels done so far in black chrome PVD. Cal, let me guess... $3100?
  12. Peel that crap off and PVD 'em.
  13. I prefer the stock all-weather ones, but for the pric, the Nifty catch-alls are great.
  14. I prefer opera. On my forum, I put the ads at the bottom.
  15. It's signal strength. I've had HD radio for 5 years in three vehicles. I know exactly the areas where I will have that problem.
  16. On the current SD card package, it lists Wcities, InfoUSA, Gracenote, USTA, Telenav, TeleAtlas, Sync by Microsoft, and FoMoCo. I know what Gracenote, USTA, Sync, and FoMoCo are and they aren't it. I know that Telenav provides map data, but I don't know who the rest of those folks are. I'd guess that at least the majority of it comes from Telenav.
  17. I started thinking about the math last night. The tree came down right where his head was. The speed limit on Brookwood Rd. is 45 mph. That's 66 feet per second. Assuming a 3 foot diameter of the trunk and branches, He was 1/22nd of a second either way from just having a bad accident and being here to talk about it. That, my friends, isn't coincidence. That is the finger of God.
