  1. Copper is my favorite, but I have not really seen a red one yet.
  2. Those ads seem to only appear when you are logging on from a computer in Canada.
  3. It seems that Ford is getting its act together. I don't think the Fusion has had a recall?
  4. It's interesting to note how well customers recated to the vista roof. I think it's a faboulous idea and am glad that Ford is offering it. This option is certainly a departure from the Ford of the past. The copper colour seems to be the flagship colour for the Edge, but as I've been looking at the different colours, they all seem to fit the Edge nicely. I think two row of seats is fine to for this size of a vehicle. Pretty soon, magazines will start demanding a fourth row of seats for the Expy and Suburban and three rows for everything else! If you need a lot of seating, GET AN ECONOLINE.
  5. Man, I'll be driving my 1988 E150 to Ohio for a Ford show Thanksgiving weekend
  6. Since the Lions always play someone on Thanksgiving day, I'd bet you'll see Edge ads. By then, the Lions should be 0-13 :cheerleader:
  7. According to Ford, the Edge really won't start to hit dealers until approx. December. I can't see them running ads 60 days before the Edge is on lots....imagine how many people would be visting dealers looking for an advertised car that they cannot see?
  8. Ford WHQ told me that they will arrive at dealers in December...
  9. All of these seating statements by magazines are getting crazy  Do they expect EVERY vehicle to have three or four rows of seats? How about the Lexus RX? :kuko:
  10. Any new updates? Is everything back to normal at Oakville?
  11. I've read this same feeling about the fuel economy on a few others sites too. I thought the hwy. miles would be a litter higher too.
  12. The Fusion, Mustang and Edge seem to be Ford's new babys
  13. I liked the original Windstars - it is sad what happened to them I do hope that the new product (Fairlane) will take off though.....mininvan market has been brutally hard over the past few years. Maybe Ford can create a new market?
  14. The price difference between an Edge SE AWD and FWD isn't that much at all! :happy feet: Edge SE FWD: 25,995. USD Edge SE AWD: 27,645. USD I figured the AWD model would be closer to $29K.
  15. I take it that these are Canadian prices?
  16. I have not heard anything firm yet. I don't understand how people can order these vehicles and how Ford will have them hitting dealers in less than 90 days without prices being established yet? Is this normal? :bike:
  17. I wonder what the take rate is going to be with the pan-roof? Does anyone who what other CUV's offer it?
  18. Amen! I think Ford started to turn a corner with the Fusion and it is moving in the same direction with the Edge. Thanks to everyone from Oakwood who are on here helping future customers out.
  19. The thing that I can add is what Ford WHQ told me - expect them to begin arriving to dealers in December.
  20. Congrats on the Fairlane, Oakville! It's finally nice to see Ford utilizing plant capacity like the Asians do.
  21. Thanks for all of the updated from everyone at Oakville - looking forward to the Edge :happy feet:
  22. Only the 3.5L V6 is planned - ARTICLE LINK
  23. I dropped a note to Ford asking when they will arrive at dealers. Will post when I get the response. Accodring to Ford, the Edge/MKX will begin arriving at dealers this December.
  24. I agree - I really need to see the colours too. I have only seen the orange, silver, white and black driving around here. I was not aware of any purple for the MKX. Does anyone know if the purple will also be available on the Edge?
  25. Most of you know me from BlueOvalNews. I was almost certainly going to purchase a Fusion, however, now I am torn between the Fusion and the orange Edge. I really like both of them - so the quagmire begins  I like the Fusion's styling and think the AWD is the bomb, but I also like the styling of the Edge. . .it's also more suitable to haul my mutts around in. The Edge's 3.5L is a nice addition since the Fusion doesn't have it, but it's not really an all important factor since the 3.0L is fine with me too. Who else is considering an Edge and why?
