  1. For the X-plan pin section, click here. I don't think that dealers are required to sell at the X-plan pin price, but most do. They might exclude certain vehicles like the Shelby models, etc.
  2. It's great the you received your Edge - we all know that you have been waiting a while Speaking of the rain, how does it handle and what type of tires are on it? FWD or AWD?
  3. I think it looks very attractive - cool and sexy. Oh, you Canadians and Tim Hortons! Ever since they opened up one here in MI, my wife (from Barrie) has been dragging me over there.
  4. I like the blazing copper - probably because it's such an unusual colour to begin with.
  5. I saw that same combination at Strohs' Ice Cream in downtown Wyandotte (MI). It was very sleek. I love the rear tail-lamps at night
  6. The NHTSA has a 2007 Ford Edge 4-DR. w/SAB to test. No date given though.
  7. Yes - I live in Wyandotte. I go to school at U-Mich. Dearborn.
  8. Cool - the first one to hit that far down South :happy feet: I didn't hear about the ones at Demmer in Wayne. Are they still there or have they been delivered?
  9. The Amethyst is nice, but it can be a little tricky on the eyes (looks black at times).
  10. Oh, I do agree with you. On the other hand, Ford shouldn't announce a vehicle's availability beforehand. Ford has a long history of doing this and it is bad business.
  11. That's not too bad , from what I understand you have to remove the cab of the 2008 Super Duty trucks for engine work.
  12. It's without a doubt that the delayed launch of the Edge, or at least how it was handled by Ford has left some people unhappy. Maybe Ford should have and could have explained the delays to dealers/customers, but I still think they would have had pissed off customers who simply didn't want to wait? I suppose one could argue that the Edge delays were done by Ford in the interest of long-term satisfaction. . .Ford did the right thing by not releasing and Edge models before prime time. Ford nor any other auto maker desires the spotlight of an embarrassing recall. Especially recalls on a new model launch. Congrats on the Toyota
  13. Wow - that's a high winding little beast I like a car that can handle and loves RPMs :happy feet:
  14. Damn - I only took on semester of French about 10 years ago.
  15. I'm not seeing any pictures. Here's how you can add them: 1) Find a place that you can host your photos on, like photobucket.com. Copy the link of each photo then click on the tree icon to insert each photo. 2) You can host the photos on this site and do essentially the same thing. Here's how to host them on this site site - CLICK HERE.
  16. The body-color matching grille would make a good sport version model.
  17. What you are saying about Ford getting away from the "Ship It Now, Fix It Later" complex seems to be over I went to a Ford holiday party a few days ago at the Fox in downtown Detroit and Ford management seems to echo that very clearly. In fact, I have heard this from not just Ford managers, but engineers as well. I think your statement about the Fusion beating Toyota's best just sums it all up :yup:
  18. I think you're the first one to receive and Edge :party2:
  19. I have never seen a Redfire MKX in person.
  20. Ford ZM just posted that they got theirs: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?showtopic=143
  21. I don't think anyone could provide a definitive date, however, I'd would guess 2.5 weeks.
