I fired off a letter to Ford WHQ. I will post their reply here when I receive it.

Those are sweet. It's pretty cool that each has their own DVD so people can watch different programs too. Of course, it makes sense since there are two different units anyway.

I've seen many Edges with vista roofs around here (Dearborn).

Good catch - I missed that too.

Good point about blue not being offered. I think that the Creme and dune (at least in photos) are really close. Maybe too close? According to this article (LINK), blue is almost as popular as red.

I wouldn't worry about it - problems always crop up that must be sorted out prior to shipment. Another thread on this forum noted that OK to ship is not even scheduled for another 2.5 weeks. SEE POST 17 HERE. The triplets (Fusion, Milan and Zephyr) had a variety of quality of problems that were contained BEFORE they were shipped out to consumers. In fact, the Fusion is rated very highly ARTICLE LINK.

Ford will launch the Edge and MKX without rebates on the hood, which is the way it should be with any new vehicle anyway. article link

Saw a lot of Edge models all over Dearborn Thursday and Friday. One was towing a large trailer - durability testing? They all looked good. I did not see a Sage or red one though I WILL get pics next time!

THAT what I was wanting to know. Thanks. And I agree, the Edge needs this option.

Media launch for the Edge is 16 October. I will update this post as more info. comes in. Like I said in earlier post, Ford will start advertising the Edge in November - so sense in advertising it now when they are not at dealers for customers to see for themselves.

I drove a Milan AWD and it was totally awesome. Torque steer was not an issue at all. Check with some posts on TheFusionSource to see what AWD owners think too.

I like white too, but I think they wanted some more "richer" looking colors.
