I would not doubt that there are close to 1,000 Ford Edges around here in Dearborn. Whether they were "commandeered" or not I cannot answer. I'll jot over there and see what the window stickers say and report back. My bet is that Ford ordered these units and wants to aggressively test them - which is a grand idea. Let Ford's employees check them out up and down.

Hi, Brian. Try posting the VIN number of the first Edge you described and maybe someone from Ford can find out where it is. Just curious - which state or province do you live in that no Edge's have arrived yet?

How do you find the glare with the camel interioer? I'm here in Michigan and it didn't seem bad at all. . .of course, the sun really isn't out either.

Love the BAMR. Used the Nav. system while in downtown Detroit without a hitch. What color did you get?

I had the same problem for the first day or two, but I think that I wasn't actually getting it into the right position. . .over shot it.

A lot of people have gotten X-Plan PINS from the BlueOvalForums site. There are banners that rotate on the top of every site advertising the X-Plan program. It has saved a lot of people from haggling, etc. For those who want an X-plan PIN, here's the direct link.

First off, Ford is NOT going to invoice your window sticker for the vista roof if it is not there. You cannot possibly charge someone for something like that - just ask Elliott Spitzer There are hundreds upon hundreds of Edge models here in Dearborn and guess what: Many HAVE vista roofs I would find a new Ford dealership and never go back to the one that you are dealing with. I'd like to know which dealership it is that is telling you this What we need is a Ford Edge dealership HALL OF SHAME. Might we have our first inductee?

One thing would be certain for me - I would NOT give that dealer my business. $5,000 over?

I know that you've only seen the two colors in person, but which color are you leaning toward and why?

For the X-plan pin section, click here. I don't think that dealers are required to sell at the X-plan pin price, but most do. They might exclude certain vehicles like the Shelby models, etc.

I like the blazing copper - probably because it's such an unusual colour to begin with.
