Love my Edge....I also work for Ford!!!!
robertlane replied to jessi'sbeauty78's topic in Welcome Forum!
I would be proud too. Ford's quality has certainly come a long way since the late 1990s. Having a great looking, great performing and a solid product is what Ford has done with the Edge -
It's not me - it all of the Ford employees who make it possible We need the top ten trolls list to ban.

We had a power supply problem, so we lost two days worth of data. Moreover, we don't delete any posts or prune, so it does lead to performance problems. We're going to start pruning the x-plan pin forum today since there isn't a real need to keep posts where people have received their PINS.

That's because it was a VAPOR Edge, which is the fastest color they come in.

There's a whole forum here for SYNC help.

Hi to those in Canada Are vehicle prices starting to fall in line with U.S. prices? My wife is from Barrie, so I go there often I know a lot of products are still much higher in Canada but I was not sure about vehicles.

Ford Edge almost outsells GM's Crossover Trio.
robertlane replied to Edge Guide's topic in Competing Crossovers & Vehicles
When the Edge & MKX are factored in together, they beat GM. -
This looks like a very nice package for those who don't need or want more horsepower but would like some more zing. Those wheels are the bomb.

How many would consider a Ford Flex?
robertlane replied to robertlane's topic in Articles, News & Reviews
Can't do the TaurusX/Freestyle....just too hideous for me. We have an E350 right now, but it's TOO big for everyday usage. I do love the Edge, but fear it might be too small since we have four mutts since it will replace the E350. I do like the Flex and I know it's a love it or hate it type of vehicle. But it appeals to me and has the room that we need. -
How many Edge owners would consider buying a Ford Edge? Why or why not? Do you think it will have a cult following?

FORD SYNC - Can we HACK this POS?
robertlane replied to gfhii's topic in Audio, Backup, Navigation & SYNC
CorporateEdge might have a point here. Remember a few years back when a Dodge Durango driver installed a DVD movie and started watching it while driving? I think it ended in a fatality, but I know for sure it ended in a lawsuit against DCX for allowing the navigation system to play movie DVDs. Maybe they are doing this to avoid a lawsuit to types? -
Does anyone have a 2008 Ice Edge that can share some photos?

Let's move the post to the SYNC section so others can chime in. -
“BEST OF WHAT’S NEW”: FORD SYNC NAMED A TOP NEW TECHNICAL INNOVATION BY POPULAR SCIENCE * Popular Science calls Ford SYNC one of the top technical innovations of the year – a leap forward in the automotive category. * SYNC, developed in partnership with Microsoft, is a fully integrated, voice-activated in-car communications and entertainment system that works with most digital media players and Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones. * SYNC will be available on 12 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles this year and nearly all Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles within two years. DEARBORN, Nov. 13, 2007 – Ford SYNC™ has been recognized by the editors of Popular Science magazine as one of the best new technologies of the year and chosen to receive a 2007 “Best of What’s New” award in the automotive category. Ford SYNC, developed on the Microsoft Auto software platform, provides consumers the convenience and flexibility to bring digital media players – Apple iPods, Microsoft Zunes and other MP3 players – and Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones into their vehicles and operate the devices via voice commands or with the steering wheel’s redundant radio controls. SYNC is making in-car connectivity more affordable and more widely available than ever before. It will be available on 12 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury products this year and on nearly all Ford, Lincoln and Mercury products by the end of 2008. “BEST OF WHAT’S NEW” Each year, the editors of Popular Science review thousands of products in search of the top innovations of the year -- breakthrough products and technologies that represent a significant leap forward in their categories. “Best of What’s New” awards are presented to 100 new products and technologies in 10 categories: Automotive, Aviation & Space, Computing, Engineering, Gadgets, Green Tech, Home Entertainment, Home Tech, Personal Health and Recreation. “For 20 years, Popular Science’s “Best of What’s New” awards honor the innovations that a make positive impact on life today and change our views of the future,” says Mark Jannot, Editor-in-Chief of Popular Science. “PopSci’s editors evaluate thousands of products each year to develop this thoughtful list. There’s no higher accolade Popular Science can give.” Jim Buczkowski, director of Electrical Systems Engineering at Ford, thanked the magazine’s editorial team for the award and noted, “All of us at Ford are committed to delivering the products people want—and that means not only great vehicles, but also smart, innovative features like SYNC that change the game for the better.” SYNC will be standard on Lincoln vehicles and widely available on Ford and Mercury vehicles. In most cases, SYNC will be included as standard equipment on high-series models from Ford and Mercury – the Ford Edge Limited or Ford Focus SES, for example. On models where SYNC is optional, it will be priced at $395. A full list of the “Best of What’s New” award winners is included in the much-anticipated December issue of Popular Science, the magazine’s most widely read issue since the debut of the awards in 1987, and online at http://www.popsci.com/popsci/.

TWO Edges :shades: It's good that you're posting these comments as it helps both customers and Ford improve the breed.
