  1. TRUUUU. 18 of them are mine... not in the hashtag. lol
  2. Interesting fact for you, medical studies show that alcohol doesn't kill brain cells. It only temporarily inhibits your brain's ability to send signals across whatever the things that carry messages around your brain are called. That's why you typically do really stupid stuff while drunk and acknowledge that it was stupid the day after. lol
  3. Anyone participate? It's the only way I can watch it without becoming enraged or bored (no matter the president's party affiliation). lol
  4. I really don't think those two years make a difference, though.
  5. That's a great pic, and one of the few Japanese cars I would actually think about purchasing. Nice!
  6. Anyone tuning in? Take advantage of some repetitive and predictable rhetoric! This is quite a humorous one for any of those of the conservative or libertarian nature. I love it, and will be playing this one. http://foxnewsinsider.com/2014/01/27/greg-gutfeld-makes-state-union-drinking-game Another probably more conservative one, but Ben's a decent guy. Probably more Libertarian. http://benswann.com/the-obama-state-of-the-union-drinking-game/ And one final one: Best wishes!
  7. It's only respectable because of the car you traded it for. Enjoy it!
  8. ^^ Yup, wish I knew that before getting a spare from the dealer for $200. God.
  9. Looks kinda cool. God, I want the sport body kit so bad.
  10. Looks great! I did mine too! I'll be doing the foglight bezels in the spring.
  11. Do the Five5 5000k. 35 watt is fine, but why not have more light? lol Unfortunately, I didn't ask myself that question when I ordered mine. As far as the temperature, I prefer the whiter light. Looks cleaner and stands out more on the road. Also, if you often drive at night and get tired, I find it harder to fall asleep looking into whiter light than yellow-er light.
  12. I know pioneer HUs have problems with their inner fusing blowing up. Could it be a fuse within the HU? Maybe don't put your amp settings to max lol. That's never a good idea.
  13. Check your ground, or the settings on the radio lol. I don't think you're stupid, but I've done that before. lol If I recall correctly, there's two fuses for our radio.
  14. Holy dick! I'm glad I looked at this thread! My name is Andrew and I also drive an '08 SEL... weird. ANYWAY Congrats on the marriage and the car and welcome to the board! Let me tell you, I spent $5 on LEDs for my front map lights... then spent $30 on Dan's rear lights... Drop the extra cash. lol I've done my grille in black PD, and have my front windows tinted at 20% with 50% on the windshield and BAMR. Honestly, my first mod (after the subwoofer) was HIDs. God I hate the stock halogen lights we have. All my mods are listed in my sig. In addition, there are some running boards that can be found with some searching on the forum. K&N makes an intake kit, and Steeda may have one as well, although, there has been reports that they're quite loud on our vehicles. 3D Carbon is the only company that I'm aware of that make a body kit for our cars, except for the sport model pieces Ford has, both options I think look great. Hope you find what you're looking for on the forum; there's a lot of great help and advice lying around, too (use the google search function and not the forum one).
  15. My god that up-close side-by-side really shows how ugly the stock thing is, and just how incredible yours are, Dan.
  16. Hah! All Fords that I'm aware of have that REALLY soft brake pedal. I've thought about doing stainless steel brakelines. I'm not sure if the rest of the forum will like me if I recommend RetroSolutions, but they've been problem-free from the beginning and took thirty minutes to put in by myself. DDM and Torimoto are other popular brands if you care to compare prices, but I think DDM's harnesses are cheap or something. I'd do 5000k-6000k, depending on how 'blue' you want them to be. 4500k I think is most visibility, 5000k is whitest, and 6000k is probably the bluest I'd go if you actually care to see anything. OH! Get the 55 watt model. 35 watt works great (it's what I have) if that's all you want to do, but because of our reflector housing, the beam will be jagged and at far distances on flat roads, you'll be able to see just how jagged by what parts of the road aren't lit up. You'll have to aim them slightly below where you normally would aim your lights because of the jaggedness, but they're still much brighter than the stock POS.
  17. Does this just snap off? I'm looking for a way to spice up the interior a little, and I was thinking of plasti-dipping the dash and piece pictured black.
  18. Thanks, congrats, and enjoy Korea, sir. Stay safe!
  19. I will never own a car without weathertechs. They are singlehandedly keeping the interior cleaner than anything else.
