  1. There is no wiring at all for the fog lamps. You can splice the wires to the low beams and run it off of those or others have gotten smaller LED fog lights and put them through the grille and wired them other ways. There is another post on here about this same thing, look it up. Good luck

    MPG Question

A lot of people see that "break in improvement" around 5k miles. Good luck
  4. there are also black housing for those interested with darker color edges....I plan on getting a pair of these soon...just kind of timid to take off the bumper....

I think some already discussed this in a post....I could be wrong that. In that instance, it wasn't a running board it was a part of the side panel and was not large or out enough to be stepped on...
  6. I still suggest getting them....I no longer have the problems in my 08 so idk what was happening before but now I'm all good and I love them...so much better than halogen!
  7. just bought the glossifier from dipyourcar.com....should get it in the next week then will hopefully apply 1-2 more coats of black and a couple of the gloss. Will post updates
  8. I got mine from xtremehids.com....I recommend them due to inexpensive but good quality. My friend also has them in his projectors in his eclipse and loves them as well.
  9. Okay sounds like too much of a risk unless I have an extra pair laying around...Thanks
  10. Thanks! Did you end up getting yours done?
  11. Done!!!!! Thank god ha I got the grille done and fog light bezels also. Looks great IMO and just will need a little touching up before winter when I redo the wheels as well. But for now, I'm very happy. The hardest part was the tedious taping everything off....but other than that wasn't too bad! Will post better pics once I take the tape off the emblems and it dries a little more but for now.... Still debating on whether or not to get the glossifier to redo everything....let me know what you guys think!
  12. okay thanks. I'm sure I can find something laying around to throw back there

Okay thanks. I may do this mod depending on how much money I have to spare next summer
  14. Okay. Did you put anything behind the between the grille and the engine bay to protect from overspray? (Through the bars of the grille)
  15. I know this is last minute but I'm hoping to do my grille in plasti-dip tmrw morning/afternoon and have a quick question....will it be that tough to do if I just tape everything off? I really don't feel like taking the grille off....thx

good job on those wheels btw
  17. Painting them to match the white of the edge would probably look pretty sick too....
  18. I'm usually a fan of all black but I have to go with the original color you posted. I have when black wheels have a big silver lip in it....just ruins it for me. But hope you're happy with whatever choice you make, I bet it will look good no matter what.
  19. Ever think of contacting Ford and seeing if they would use your design to just use as the stock LEDs???
  20. Yeah I have had similar problems with my fuel gauge....the needle is accurate but the digital readings are off by a lot...after the reserve fuel warning comes on around 50 miles to E, it then drops about 5 miles to E every mile...annoying when having to risk it! Also, when I fill up it says I get 20.1 mpg and will get 380 miles out of the tank but I only average 19 mpg and get about 280 miles from a tank. I asked Ford about it and they said that the sensors in the tank tend to do that and to not even pay attention to the digital readings, pay attention to the needle and I'll be fine.
