  1. Welcome to the community, sorry you are having problems with your '13 Edge! At the very least, the calipers need to cleaned and slide pins greased, at the most, they should be replaced. Either way, the dealer should fix under warranty. 15K is terrible life for a brake pad, esp. OEM, if this is not exclusively a dragstrip-driven vehicle, that is. As akirby said, find a new dealer. If you still have no luck, there is a Ford Customer Service Rep on here to help you escalate & resolve the issue.
  2. Yokohama Parada Spec-X is well liked in the community, Pirelli Scorpion reviews are somewhat mixed. I am running Nitto tires myself, but they came with the Edge. They seem to be OK, not the best I've seen.
  3. Welcome to the community, glad to have you and your MKX aboard! Are you going to be installing a flashing LED light bar to go with that nickname? How long have you had the MKX?
  4. I use the standard TYC filter. Aim to try the ATP carbon filter next time.
  5. Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your Edge! Didn't take you long to make it your own
  6. Get a good quality torque wrench! Many out there are pure junk.
  7. You might have luck finding aftermarket COPs on EBay. I just saw a set for under $160 from a reputable seller. EMail the seller alanisdeals to see if they have any for the Edge. They have many satisfied customers for Ford COPs, at a very reasonable price. OEMs will run around $92 per COP. My Edge's spark plugs were gapping at 0.070+ after 80K miles. So yeah, changing them could help. Plus changing the PCV valve at the same time would be a good idea.
  8. Though not my top choice, Power Stop Z16 brake pads seem to be working fine for me: http://www.amazon.com/Power-Stop-16-1258-Ceramic-Brake/dp/B007K1JXA0 http://www.amazon.com/Power-Stop-16-1259-Ceramic-Brake/dp/B007K1JXHI/ A more expensive option is the Hawk HPS, but they are sold by a third party.
  9. If it's burnt badly enough, there are aftermarket sockets that work well. A search on the forum should turn up links/names.
  10. 10 days we've been waiting, 10 days anticipating ...
  11. There are a couple of videos up on YouTube that may help you out
  12. Welcome to the community, glad to have you and your '10 Edge here! Put up some pics so we can figure out what all it needs by way of mods to keep it running
  13. I believe there are aftermarket installs for the Gen 1 Edge that maybe you could see if it works for you. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/2016-thinking-of-replacing-my-edges-navigation-system-with-aftermarket/ http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/3564-aftermarket-audio-wiring-harness-recommendations/ http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/7415-edge-mid-range-touchscreen-stereo-upgrade-top-to-bottom/ http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/1604-stereo-upgrade/ http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/10959-08-edge-build-log
  14. Congrats on your Edge and welcome to the forum! CAI won't really do much for performance, at least by itself, but can really improve the looks. I assume you have the 3.7L? You could probably add a CAI, bigger TB, dual catbacks ALONG WITH (most importantly) a custom tune (e.g. from Unleashed Tuning in FL torrie@unleashedtuning.com). THEN you would get that SPORTy feeling you so desire :D
  15. Do you have active shutters on your Edge, traxiii?
