No way to avoid a diagnostic There is a rare possibility that has to do with subframe not allowing proper adjustment. I'd try to find a reputable dealer or service shop on yelp or repairpal or dealerrater.

I have seen around the web that a PCM update has resolved solenoid related noises for gm transmissions. Worth a shot here?

I guess aftermarket is the best choice then.

You might be able to do this with a head unit swap and a ford tech to help you turn it on. Pm thirdgenlxi, he did something similar for his 2007, get his insight.

How many miles on your current pads/rotors, kghayes? You may need a brake booster, in addition to new pads/rotors (unfortunately, I have to recommend non-Ford parts for p/r). I will be getting my brakes p/r done soon with a brake flush. And definitely change dealers/shops if unhappy with service. Plenty of recommendations on yelp, repairpal, dealerrater, etc.

Interesting. Did you use the paste wax or the liquid wax? What was your application process? Don't normally hear of a pure carnauba survive that kind of beating.

Does the '12 Edge use a mechanical shutter to switch from Hi to Lo Beam? Could a malfunction with the shutter cause this type of problem?

Do you have the manual or automatic climate control? Could still have a problem with the blend door and/or the climate control module.

Hopefully they gave you enough to move forward and acquire another compatible vehicle.

What oil and filter are you using, Josh? This engine seems to prefer the OEM Motorcraft FL400S, due to the location of the bypass valve at the base end as opposed to most other filters, providing lubrication that much quicker to the engine on startup. If the sound goes on for a few minutes, it could be due to inadequate lubrication through the cam phasers, so keeping a tight schedule on OCs is an excellent recommendation.

Could very well be one or more wheel bearings going out. Sometimes brake pad/rotor interaction can also cause grinding noises when turning if the pads are not seating properly. Should all be under b2b warranty, so definitely have the dealer look at this.
