  1. The tube is not clogged since I also see the puddle. Already tried Lysol on cowel outside front passenger section under the hood. Checked dash on passenger side and didnt see any intakes. Took glove box off and I think recircualte mode intake is diectly below the filter but too many exposed wiring there for me to safely spry lisol with engine on. I did spray a bit below that general alrea with it on max ac mode so will see if this helps it at all. From the searches on a few threads here I think the issue is mold or trapped water in the condensator or blower and would need to clean that to fully get rid of the smell.
  2. Thanks, will check those locations. Filter was changed about 3 months ago. Initially I thought it was the filter as well which is why I had it repalced 3 months ago but the moldy smell still persists.
  3. Need some info on where air intake by for the A/C is located when in recerculation mode on 2011 MKX. I have an issue with a odour that comes from the vents and am trying to eliminate it by spraying some lysol into the intake.
  4. Looks like they are from a 2011 Range Rover Evoque. Edit: Looks like aftermarket wheels that match this look are also available. LEXANI® - LUST http://www.lexani.com/wheels/Premium/#!/Lust
  5. I also just recently purchased a 2011 MKX and delaership placed a sticker for next oil change after 8000 KM or 5 months. My IOLM also indicates about 62% oil life remaining. Since most of of my driving is City, I am planning on regular oil changes every 5 months or so just to ensure longer engine life. It would probably best for you to stick with miles/dates and based on percantage of City/highway driving between oil changes rather than IOLM recommendation since it does not actually use any sensors to trully guague remaining oil life.
  6. Nav presets were gone but radio presets stayed.
  7. Setting correct time and then master resetting did seem to work.
  8. Well the settings have a option to auto adjust for DST.
  9. Called sync support and was advised to try to set clock manually and do a master reset to see if issue was resolved. Will try that and report back tomorrow. If that does not resolve it, they asked me to call back. Anyone else having this issue should try the fix above and if it does not work, call for sync support to report the bug so it gets fixed. Not sure why they suggested manually setting time first since master reset resets the time anyways.
  10. Thanks for confirming. Ford's lack of software quality control and testing is amazing to have missed this bug. At least iOs has quarterly updates unlike MFT.
  11. Anyone else in eastern time zone have issue with clock time after the update? Mine is one hour behind and fails to auto update to correct time with GPS.
  12. I have the exact same issue as well on my 2011 MKX. Dealership insists this is normal.
  13. When you tune to a HD station, it will display the sub channels available by the HD logo. If you click on the sub channel number, it will tune to the HD sub channel.
  14. 2011 Factory Key Fob is diffrent so might have more range than this kit. My 2011 MKX with factory fob can be started from my 6th floor apartment.
  15. Actually mine was grainny yesterday after being in the heat all day when I went home and parked in the underground lot. It was fine again this morning. Could be camera has temp related issues. For thoese with grainny camera issue, does it seem to be worse in the hot weather and better during cooler?
  16. That is not normal, my 2011 MKX rear view camera is clear in day and night.
  17. Thanks for the suggestions. The power drop off is not consistent so it might be the transmission just shifted gear. No noticeable vibrations and issue happens regardless of climate control being on or off. Don't think its a bent rim since that would most likely make noise constantly. As for the intake, I did replace air filter recently so I will definitely check that.
  18. Took it into dealership again and they can't find the problem. I can't reproduce it consistently enough for them to take a ride in vehicle with me to show the noise and they can't seem to reproduce it on their own.

    Whining Noise

Sounds like same issue I have with my 2011 MKX. See following thread and listen to the audio and let me know if sound is the same. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/12682-2011-mkx-humwhine/
  20. Had same issue with my old 2002 Chevy Malibu. Seemed to be cused by condensation from the AC system itself and not from external source. Occured more often if I left AC to recycle air. Issue self corrected on its own but still had my mechanic check and clean the AC drain plug under the car. Not sure if the Edge has a simlar drip plug under the car but if does and that is clogged, this can be the result.
  21. See if link below helps, it was for older model but hopefully most of the details still apply to the newer models. http://www.justanswer.com/ford/33558-replace-lamp-gear-shifter-ford-edge.html
  22. Looks like issue was not fixed after all. Seems to happen when it is rainy or wet outside most often. Hard to consistently reproduce the issue so might be difficult to narrow down cause.
  23. Apparently it was the exhaust pipe under certain conditions making that sound, dealership indicated they would wrap some insulation around it to resolve issue. Hopefully thts all the problem was, thanks for everyone's feedback on the issue.
  24. Checked transmission fluid, it seems ok. Tried revving the engine while on neutral and it did not make the sound. Attached is another audio of the sound (around 12 sec mark) which bit clearer then the previous one. Taking car into dealership tomorrow to see what they diagnose the issue as, hopefully they can reprocude the issue and resolve it. 2011 Mkx Whine 2.mp3
