Mike what do you have for mirrors on your Edge. Mine has small mirrors. Going from an F250 with the big tow mirrors my only complaint with my edge is the tiny mirrors. I don't want huge mirrors cuz it would look ugly but a little bigger would be nice.

I installed the HiddenHitch 87617 and T wire harness Draw-tite 118515 on my Edge this last week. Installation was easy and looks like it came factory installed. Hitch and wiring took about 2.5 hours and I soldered and heat shrieked the power lead splices for the fuse holder and the eyelet to connect to the battery.

I ended up just getting the HiddenHitch wire harness and hitch. Installation looks good and looks like it came from the factory. Only took about 2.5 hours to do the hitch and wiring install. I even soldered and heat shrinked the wire joints for the power lead and fuse holder.

I got my Edge just under 2 weeks ago and I like the MFT and find it pretty easy to navigate. I find MFT to have some bugs but from what I understand its leaps and bounds ahead of where it started. I have a USB key in with music on it and ill be listening to Sirius radio and some times when I go to restart my Edge it will switch to USB. I'm going to let my Sirius radio expire at the end of the trial and will stick to USB and a local radio station that I like so hopefully it won't be an issue long term. I have also once had some of my settings get lost but it was easy to find them again so no big deal. Biggest annoyance to me is how much gets locked out while your driving especially in the GPS. My passenger can't even enter a street address when were moving. Over all I'm very pleased with my Edge, wait let me rephrase that. I LOVE MY EDGE

I installed the ford splash guards to night on the front and have some black splash guards with Ford logos on them for the back. I dropped the front flaps about 3/4" from the B and J holes. Looks good and I wanted a little more protection for the painted side skirts living in the country. I'll take pictures once completed with the back flaps.

My sport is pretty quiet in the cabin. Is their really different sound deadening materiel between the Limited and the Sport. When traveling down the highway I hear more noise coming from the back doors than the front and the difference in the glass is probably why. I'm sure the dual pain windows cost more but it would have been nice if Ford would have put the dual layer glass in the back doors as well. Is their an air gap between the 2 window pains or are they sandwiched right together?

Ok found how to do it. Go to phone, phone book, open contact, click options, and set as destination. I have a blackberry and haven't tried with the wife's iPhone 5 but with my blackberry that I have synced to my work Exchange using BES I had to change the country for my contacts from "United States of America" to USA. Now MFT sees the address like Housenumber street, city, state, zip, country I changed all my contacts in MS Outlook and let my phone update and then had MFT re-download the contacts from my phone and now they are working from my blackberry anyways. Much better than having to manually have to type them in when I have a ton of contacts in my address book.

Is it possible to use an address from your phone contacts ad an address in the MFT navigation? If its there I haven't found it.

Prinz, any updates? Are you upgrading your projector lenses

I picked up my Sport on Monday. I LOVE MY NEW RIDE

I ordered my Edge Sport on April 16th and it came in on Friday, May 17th. I went to check it out this afternoon and picking it up Monday. It's a very sexy ride.

I got the call from the dealer this afternoon. MY SPORT IS HERE. That's less than 5 weeks from order date. I'm going to go look at it tomorrow and hopefully pick it up on Monday.

I'm surprised you haven't gotten build date and VIN yet. I ordered my Edge on April 16th and had the build date and VIN about 2 weeks after I ordered it. I got a call from my dealer yesterday saying its scheduled for transport on May 17th and delivery on the 20th. I can't wait. If its here by Tues the 21st it will be less than 5 weeks from order to delivery.

Can the intellitrack upgrade be done on a sport or an Edge that didn't have the OEM tow package?

I have been leaning away from it and more toward finding someone to put the 3M clear bra on. I was just trying to see if anyone has had it put on and had good luck with it.

Anyone had it put on or heard of it?

Dealer is trying to get me to put Zurich Shield on my new Edge when it arrives. Anyone ever have it applied? It's like $600 and they supposedly spray it inside and out. Gives the car 5 year warranty for stains and chips in the paint. Right now I'm leaning away from it as it seems like the kind of deal that's pretty well pure profit to the dealer and not a ton of benefit to me. I was almost thinking I would rather bring the car to someone that can put the clear bra on instead.

It looks like the halogen projector pattern isn't as defined as the OEM HID pattern. How many of you guys that originally had halogen changed out the lenses to get the defined light cuttoff of a higher end projector?

Any one else notice the difference between the lenses on at least the 2013 Edge's that have HID OEM bulbs vs those that don't. I was at my dealer today and the Edge's that have factory HIDs are clear with a horizontal line and the lenses on the non HID Edge's look to have little air pockets in the lense. Anyone know what's different between the lenses for light output or shape?

So I waiting to receive my Edge Sport but will be putting a hitch on it to tow a small utility trailer. I'm pretty sure im going to go with the Hidden Hitch 87617 for the hitch but for the wiring do most of you go with the T-connector harness such as the Draw-tite 118515 or do you buy the OEM Ford harness and wire it in?

Will do, I agree it would be nice for more tracking tools.

I'm getting excited to get my Edge. Called the dealer and they were able to get the build date of 5/20 and the VIN for my Edge. How long do they usually take to deliver from build date. I also got my $750 certificate from Ford yesterday with a brochure that I ordered off Fords web site. It was a pretty crappy brochure for marketing materials but the $750 on the back page is awesome.
