Is it standard for Ford to leave the harness in place on a 2013 SE? If so I'd buy some .

Except for the reliability of a Honda I have the Edge and love it, but reading through forums I seem to find a lot of owners having problems with their Edge. Either the my touch, or the exhaust fumes coming in, door latch problems, tire and alignment issues, throttle body issues, etc. I love american cars but respect the Japs for the cars they make also

Hey guys. Loving the new Edge. Only thing I miss from my old car is the Navi. Now I use my phone which I don't mind, but I'm trying to find the best cell phone holder that fits either on top of the center dash or right in front of the shifter. What do you guys use?? I don't want to attach to windshield if possible but I think it'll be hard to find something that sticks to the dash. Thanks

Most cars are like this. My Mitsubishi Galant did it, my dads corolla does it, our crown Vics at work do it, I think they pretty much all do it.

Thank you. Just read it. So it appears that from those posts its fairly easy to remove the mesh screen and put in the air filter. I just ordered it from Amazon for $15.

Thank you. If I don't have one installed, is it easy to just pop one in or do I have to do some cutting to install it? I had a Mitsubishi that had the compartment for it, but I had to do some cutting to get access to it. Thanks edit: Can you please recommend which one is the best filter to get? Hello guys. Quick question. Is there a way to know if my Edge SE came with a cabin air filter without having to remove the glove box? Like via the VIN or something? If mine doesn't have one , I'd like to install one. Thank you

The storage area by the legs seems to me likes its more for the passenger to charge his/her phone and place it in there while charging. The 12V socket is right next to the pocket on the passenger side.

Drove the Edge a lot today, noticed when I was making a small turn in my driveway at a very slow speed that the steering got stiff again. Any ideas? Checked fluids and looks topped off

Battery looks good. Are there certain known issues I should be looking for on my 13 Edge? I love the car so far. I've had 7 cars before this one, and this one by far has been my favorite.

Hello guys. Name is Steve, new to the Edge and the forums. Just purchased a 2013 Edge SE with the 3.5. I'm somewhat worried about my purchase after seeing so many people with issues on here. I only had the Edge a week and I noticed a few times that the steering wheel gets very tight when pulling out or into a parking stall. When the engine revs up then it goes away. Could it be low power steering fluid already? Also please let me know what issues I should be looking for with this vehicle. Aside from the above. So far I love the Edge. Super quiet interior and its super comfy to drive. Already took it to the mountains and it did great. Thanks!
