My Sport order has been scheduled for the week of Jan 4th, and it contains all of the items you mentioned. Maybe it will be put on hold, I am not sure.

In my opinion, a retail (sold) order should always take precedence over dealer stock. That has not been my experience with Ford.

My dealer had the same trouble using the newer system that Ford is switching to. He entered my order in the old way, and it worked. With regards to the dealer only being able to order certain vehicles, that may be true for the smaller dealers. The dealer can an order one, but will only be accepted when he has allocation. On something like the GT500, they might not even get an allocation. I have hated this about Ford's way of doing business; the way they are basically catering to the larger dealers, and leaving the little dealers in a lurch. I say if the customer places an order for a new vehicle, that should trump all else in order to get that vehicle to the customer, regardless of the dealer size. oh well.......... My dealer is in a very rural area, and the nearest big dealer is about 160 miles away.

Well, that makes me feel better. I don't check out the other manufacturers websites most of the time. I just want FoMoCo to do well, and if a new potential Ford buyer comes to the site and gets discouraged, they may not even take the time to pursue it further. Sometimes, maybe all you get is one chance to draw that customer in.

I see that as well. I am alright with that since I ordered them anyway, but probably a glitch in the Build and Price. FoMoCo seems to have quite a bit of trouble getting the build and price sections done timely and accurately.

Are you sure it is not something simple, like it somehow got switched to km from mph?

Does anybody have a unused set of the original carpeted 2015 Edge Sport mats they want to sell? I think they have "Edge" on the front ones. Please PM if so.

In my 2008 Edge the seats are warm in about a minute and a half, and very warm in about four minutes. I am curious if others who have had an earlier model Edge, and now a 2015, think the heated seats are as good? We have ordered a 2016, and hope the heated seats work as well.

Has your torque wrench been recently checked for it's calibration?

My 2008 Edge has 138000 miles on it. I am getting ready for the fourth set of tires on it, and the TPMS are the originals and are working fine! I do want a 2016 Edge before that time, hopefully!

I have been using Motorcraft Synthetic Blend, in all my Ford vehicles (2011 6.2 gas F350, 2008 3.5 Edge, 2013 2.0 EB Escape, and 2013 5.0 Mustang) Oil consumption is very low to virtually none used between oil changes. I change my own oil, and the oil itself is generally very clean at 5000-6000 miles. We do have to drive on some gravel roads where we live. I use Motorcraft filters. I buy both at WalMart because I am cheap! I have never changed my oil "early" on the first change, just my normal interval.

I too, can only get about 36K out of a set of the stock Pirellis. I think the original STR a's lasted about 5K more than the newer STR replacement. I would love to find a better tire next time.

I built a black car, but it did not list any choices. It is a glitch that will be corrected I am sure. I just want to see what Cognac will look like.

I see the 'build and price" section is working for the 2015 Edge at the Ford site, but still does not show the interior colors. When I built a titanium model, it only listed ebony cloth!?

The dealer said today there were different names for the interior colors today, Tobacco was not listed. I give up! I wish Ford would just give us and the dealers the information already.

Does anybody have an example of the Tobacco interior color in leather? Does Ford put this color in any other vehicle already?
