Do everyone's front seats heat the lower back ( lumbar area) on their cars? Ours only heats the upper portion of the back area (shoulder blade), and the actual sitting surface. My dealer says this is normal. I do not think this is correct!

Our ST heats the seating surface, and the upper portion of the seat back, but there is no heat on the lower back portion of either front seat. The back seats heat fine. It is really odd! I will have to take it in to see what is up. In the 2016 Sport we had, the seats worked perfect.

I can not get the 2019 order guide to open for me. Is it down?

Ours has wind noise on the passenger side up near the top aft side. Seals look OK. I thought the panels on ours were outstanding. We also have the adhesive left behind from the protective cover being removed from the screen. Not huge problems, but wish they had not happened. Occasionally I get a rock caught between the rotor and dust shield on my pickup, and when backing up it will make a horrible racket. Usually a few forward and reverse cycles will dislodge it. HTH

I am OK with the Ford rubber mats. I just knock the snow off my feet first. No problemo.

I am sorry for your troubles in buying a Ford. I would cancel my order with that dealer and try another. At least have them do a search for one. I really think you will like the new Edge.

I have not driven our 2016 Edge Sport much yet, but so far the wife and I have both noticed more wind noise in the front side windows at highway speeds, than our 2008 Edge. This is somewhat disappointing since the new Edge has acoustic glass, and is being touted for being so quiet overall? I have looked at the door seals and the window seals and can't seem to find anything that looks amiss. Anybody else notice this in their new Edge?

Absolutely!! Out of 15+ new Fords I have owned, I have only had one problem that was somewhat major. I had a 460 in a pickup that used more oil than normal. Ford warranty repaired it, and had no difficulties with it after that.

The heated seats in our 2016 Edge Sport are not as fast heating up, and maybe slightly less hot overall than our 2008 Edge Limited, but are OK. The heated steering wheel on the other hand is very fast heating up, and plenty warm. (This is our first car with a heated steering wheel.) Blizzaks are amazing!!

All the glass besides the front door glass and windshield are darkly tinted from the factory when equipped with Privacy Glass. I am not sure if all model trims get this glass, as I did not look at the entry trims. It is on my Sport, and it is very dark, just like on my 2008 Edge. I can not imagine it being necessary to tint those any darker.

The manual tilt/telescoping was fine with me on our old Edge. I will take the power seats anytime over manual, especially the fore/aft, and the seatback angle. ;^)

The 2016 US market Edge Sport does indeed have POWER Tilt/Telescoping steering wheel. Just picked up ours, and the 4 way switch is located just below the turning indicator stalk. Works nicely.

I placed an order on Oct 26th, the order was picked up on Dec 18, it was built Jan 04, shipped Jan 12, and dealer just texted it arrived today, Jan 15. HTH.

I have the panoramic roof on my 2008 Limited and ordered it on my 2016 Sport Edge. It's my wife's car and we really do like it when we use it! We do not use it as much as we would like, mostly because we live in a rural setting, and it's a dustier environment. Even with the window shut and just the shade open, it adds a lot of interior light, especially the rear seat area. I would think in most city driving, it would be very nice.

How hard can it be for them to change these seemingly easily fixed errors?? A few key strokes?

Did you physically see these, or are these just showing online?

I do not know positively, but the order guide says that Adaptive Steering and Power Tilt/Telescoping Steering column with Memory, is under the Interior/Comfort section of the 2016 Order guide. After that, I guess it is faith that Ford will put those items in as specified. In a few weeks, I guess we will all find out. The adaptive steering is something I really want. Ford probably has a few glitches still in the Build and Price, and has not caught up with the new items on the Window Sticker.

I have no information concerning what items are with what package, especially since the build configurator is different than how the dealer ordered. I just meant to say the order is scheduled, and not on any hold that the dealer is aware of. That may change tomorrow........I hope not. Adaptive cruise 63A, and Inflatable rear belts 52R, and Cold weather Package 55C were all options, on the order.
