I was at the dealer yesterday here in So Cal, picked up a 2016 paper copy. They didn't have any 2016's in stock but the sales guy gave me a demo on the sync 3 system. Have to say I was impressed...

I Test drove a SEL V-6 last week. There has not been a lot of talk about this model. All I can say is has plenty of power. The salesman let me drive it out of the LOT of tightly parked cars. One thing that surprised me is how easy the steering was. On my test drive: I drove on California FWY (got it up to 80mph felt like 60) made tight uturns, tested braking system and the salesman demo the MFT with voice recognition and it worked perfectly. I was surprised he was able to give commads from his passenger seat.

I'm going for a road test at Santa Anita Park in California tomorrow morning. Its a Ford's Ecoboost Challenge event. They have locations on there website now, I believe 18 around the country. I will report back with my own opinion on how this CUV drives ( other than all the other car journalists we have been reading about the past week ) Hopefully they will let me shoot my own video & photos. I saw the same one at the LA auto show in Nov. 2014. It was roped off, they wouldn't let you get close to check out the interior. But, I was able to do a ride along test drive with the Ford guy demonstrating the parking assist feature. Nice, but I would not pay extra for it. I liked the 180 view camera through .

Just wanted to get some info on the upcoming 2015 new Edge. I went to the LA car show and view it up close. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and get some valuable information in this forum.
