  1. Try wd40 ive used it to remove asphalt tar and tree sap from birch and poplar trees....works very slick, and did nothting to the paint.
  2. a tuned 2.7TT is a "monster" compared to the 3.5 and even the 3.7.
  3. would you say the v3 has better lowend performance.....say zero to sixty? Thanks for all your hard work testing and posting it here for all of us to learn from your experience.
  4. Sorry didnt see your reply: Here is a pic getting 30mpg on a road trip to Calgary.
  5. is there any chance that it could be too rigid?,,,,possibly causing case fracture...does the aftermarket have bushings?
  6. nice....def on my list to get......thanks GT500R.
  7. have to be a pretty mild injection then? would be good to get a fairly accurate est on what your octane will be with the injection.
  8. I think that would be a slick way to drop temps....Would that be difficult to tune for...via LMS?
  9. I wonder if a water spray system would work in cooling the intercooler?
  10. due to the stock (tame) driving characteristics. roads around here are brutal through the winter months. and we switch back to 87 octane on the stock tune.
  11. Nice....cant wait to install the new tune. Prolly wont be til spring. Wife insists I set it back to stock during the winter.
  12. just a guess....no wife and kids? That setup would be destroyed within minutes with my family. Looks awesome tho....good luck with the tuning process.
  13. What is the latest update. I have 3.8....I heard someone say there was a 3.10 version. Can anyone confirm this?
  14. 87 costs about .91 per liter(3.36 per gallon) and 94 will run around 1.16 per liter(4.92 per gallon).....so with the conversion: 93 cent difference.
  15. Yes....one thing I forgot to mention is I was running 93 lms (aggressive) tune with 94 octane fuel.
  16. Now keep in mind....i was extremely easy on acceleration, the road was prairie flat...and there was no wind.
  17. Thanks for the great pics...Ill be doing this mod as well.
  18. Bingo....had a black 340 sixpack dodge dart with centerlines.
  19. I wonder what an old school centerline would look like on an edge?
  20. I have a 2015 edge sport. After 10000km I would get 30 mpg(sometimes more) on pure highway driving at 65 to 70 mph....very conservative, no heavy acceleration. In town with really mild driving we would see 18 to 21 mpg. Now if I get a heavy foot, which is very easy to do in the sport, fuel mileage goes out the window....Ive seen as low as 10 to 11 mpg in town and 16 mpg on the highway. I find with the sport if you can keep out of the turbo and really baby the acceleration it does have the potential to get good fuel mileage.....but dam its tough to not play with the power the sport puts out....very addictive. So to sum everything up, I would say driving characteristics is the biggest factor in fuel economy with the 2.7tt edge sport.
  21. Has the new tune from LMS come out yet. Ive been out of the loop for a couple of weeks and I dont have facebook.
