  1. """" BUILD DATE""""" as Nick said, you do not want a leaky edge. I had one and its not pretty. Luckily ford took mine back and gave me a brand new Sport identical to my original. The 2015 Edge sport will knock your socks off compared to your other edges....it is on a completely different level of driving fun. The 2.7 twin turbo rocks! FWD are pretty rare, I think they have a little more tq steer than the awd, but there are a few guys on this board with the FWD and they all seem to luv em!

  3. If its the suede/alcantara in the sport.....this is what I use on mine: SONAX Upholstery and Alcantara Cleaner works really well and is guaranteed not to damage the fabric.

What first tipped me off to the boost issue, a buddy of mine use to have an old 1987 ninja 750 with a turbo, and it would do the same thing.....when I got the edge, it felt exactly the same but on a bike its a little more freaky.....cause it felt like the turbo wanted to boost on its own. Now maybe the 2.7eb is sensative to boost pressure and it shows up as little surges. Im only running 87 octane in mine right now, but I will be getting the LMS tune at the end of this month, so Ill report back once I have that in place and can compare to stock.....regardless, the 2.7eb is a potent little engine.

  7. That sounds pretty nasty(Id swear that sounds like a diesel VW)......ive had two 2015 edge sports, and neither had that kind of start up. That definitely screams dealer visit.
  8. The rear red light ribbon only illuminates on the Titanium and the Sport.
  9. yes i do.....and it usually occurs in S mode. Surges seems to be around 100 to 150 rpm.....to me it almost seems like the turbo wants boost just before you add more fuel....like its dancing on the edge between - and + boost pressure. Ive had two 2015 edge sports and they both did it. Im surprised more people have not noticed this.....it doesnt seem to be a big deal, it just seems like the engine wants to go.....and who am I to stand in the way of my Edge wanting to have some fun!
  10. could it be a mild fluctuations in the turbo pressure....which gives you little mini surges....I get that from time to time in the lower rpm range with my sport.
  11. Been keeping track of all the tune threads, and Id like to here from you guys what you would think would be good tunes for the street and not so much for track(we have no tracks around here). I know the first initial tunes to come out had a funky 3rd gear issue that was later fixed. So to keep it short what would you guys suggest....also I will only be using 87 or 91 octane fuel. ....would like to stay away from really harsh shifting.

  13. Wow...huge diff in unsprung mass....how much of a change did it have on acceleration? Good to know(thanks for the heads up) Have you been able to test your jammer coverage?

  15. In regards to your alp system....where did you locate the sensors....where did you plumb through the firewall....would love to see a schematic of your install...Ill have mine in a few days, just want to see how you did yours.
  16. GT500R....you running 20" or 21" rims? does the rim size have a huge effect on the tune....planning to get the tune from LMS sometime in the next few weeks.
  17. My guess is that some bumper stickers have a silver metalic reflective backing and I could see those as being a problems......This is just a theroy. I have 3m clear bra on my front end and I havent had any issues(the disk part of the sensors are covered as well). I dont think the thickness is the issue, but more the reflective nature as being the problem(as above stated)....like a microwave and foil.
  18. Did you see a drop in power, or any oil being burnt? Most of the time if an impeller goes you will notice those symptoms.....as well as some strange noises, unusually loud whine, or ticking.
  19. FWD and that tune.....must be a monster to steer under hard acceleration.
  20. Those are the exact same ones I have and they work just fine(same seller as well)......your sport has the hid headlights right?
  21. couldnt you use 3m Clear bra pro on it....that stuff is self healing.
