Thanks for your reply! -
Have any of you anglers, paddlers, dog owners, or others taken the extra step of investing in at least front seat covers for your Edge seats? If so, what did you buy, how do they fit and how have they worked out for you?

Any owners care to share their thoughts about their new Edge? -

I have a foggy notion I can't afford that option! -
Matt, I hope this will be your last entry into this lengthy string of problems / headaches. Happy motoring and crossed fingers for you, your wife, and your new Edge. Best of luck with it, but keep us posted down the road on your thoughts on this new ride.(hopefully these issues aside)

AVS on my 2016 as I posted before. I will warn you that if you go with the AVS to make sure that you leave a bit of clearance between the edge of the ventshade and the edge of the the door. (in my case drivers front door) It seems that after parking in the direct summer sun that the plastic grows length wise creating a bit of an issue. I had to shave the ventshade on the back door a tad (tech. term) to keep it from catching the drivers door edge. As seen in the close up image. The second image is a better look at the completed installation.

Fellow dog owners, BEWARE! https://www.fda.gov/AnimalVeterinary/NewsEvents/ucm627485.htm?utm_campaign=12-3-2018-VitaminD&utm_medium=email&utm_source=Eloqua&elqTrackId=B1A4CFFF6FDEE6DE41FBB7CE16615994&elq=5036556be0c94e5ea7613f5dac538a1f&elqaid=6140&elqat=1&elqCampaignId=4977&fbclid=IwAR3EWHQ59bZkHlehv_YcVYMc1te2Z2taXy4439OQUAGJOyn8QzuShUs1P-0

I think this is going to take a while to get used to! https://www.autoblog.com/2018/12/04/2020-ford-explorer-interior-photos/#slide-7480015

I had another B-17 stop by my local county airport and I could not resist taking a few pictures. I love to hear those big radial engine loping while @ idle.

It is possessive and simply plural and in some cases a way of life...

Now I know there are more of you with the Blue's, where are you?

Do the new tail light assemblies fog up with condensation like the previous models? -
Me neither, can that be corrected / changed?
-
Seems like it only wants questions. I want to add this there:

I am fascinated by the variations of the color Blue that Ford has used on the Edge over the years. Please post up your Blue Edge and make sure to include the Ford designated name for the color, as well as the model year of your Blue ride . Mine is a 2016 "Too good to be Blue"
-
Here is a spot to jot down your initial thoughts of your new 2019 Edge / Edge ST. Look your ride over real well and let us know what you see / think about the "as delivered" condition of your new Edge. If you have an issue please let us know what that is and what it takes to get it corrected. Follow up reports would be nice as well.
-
Let's hope that is the case and not a mis-engineered part relationship that shows up on other ST's. Thanks for the update mwilson, and keep us in the loop as they get you back on the road!

Stock history? I paid $14. years ago and it's been down hill ever since and sitting @ $9.42 today. The point really is that if Ford debt status goes to junk their ability to borrow / secure money becomes a much more expensive endeavor.

Keep us posted on the repairs and any info. that you might get about them. Good luck!

I'll add to this thread a "thanks" to all the warriors that served our country before our time. In my case it was to Reg. Sargent Major O.L. Winfield of the 80TH Div. Blue Ridge Division / 318th My grandfather. Job well done "Old Top" from 100 years later.
