  1. Both great tuners, you can't go wrong with either one.
  2. Tire pressure was around 28 psi in the front 35 rear. No hints of wheel spin so I might have been able to launch harder but didn't want to risk spinning. The 60' is pretty dang good, if I can cut 1.8x then I think I'll be knocking on 12's
  3. Hey NoDTMF, To answer your question, yes you can specify shift firmness or overall shift point at full throttle, no problem. Generally sport mode will be in gear longer and shift firmness is a tad higher. Let me know what other questions you have.
  4. Hey guys, Took my car to the track again this past weekend to see what the 100 octane tune can do, needless to say it was pretty strong. 2015 Edge Sport 4640 lbs Zero weight reductions Stock rims and tires LMS V1 tune - first and only release updated 11/15 (not the new MKX tune out, old tune... will they ever release a new tune?!). K&N paper filter 100 octane
  5. It even says MKS it in the YouTube vid.
  6. Ugh cmon guys.... That's a MKSSSSSSSS not MKX. MKS has 3.5 TT and that run was using race gas.
  7. Right in line with all stock Edge Sports!
  8. Yeah SSi, let's see what that tune was like for my Edge.... 1. Paddle shifters didn't work 2. Throttle response was on crack, you got 50% or 100% and no in between 3. Shifting was an utter mess where the program shifted into 6 th gear as fast as it could then you had to go like 50% throttle to stop, cluster f*** 4. Part throttle KR (this is due to boost being set to come on as soon as possible... Like 15 psi by 1900 rpm... No Bueno) 5. Was slower at the track then the out of the box LMS tune by a couple tenths.... Worst purchase ever. But if you are looking for a cheap tune with a tuner who will make fun of you publicly for downplaying him, his tunes, or running a bad time at a track, be my guest.

  10. Hello and yes I have modified the stock Grille on my Edge Sport. The original intent was to get more surface area of the intercooler and lower the IAT but it didn't pan out the way I wanted to. It isn't anything special, more aesthetic and symmetrical. I'll post some pics also.
  11. Are springs available yet for the Edge Sport?
  12. Which tuner? You can do the KAM reset if you have an SCT device.
  13. I had a similar thought and has the shifts lowered to 5900 but it seems to have slowed the car down... so i kept it at stock shift points.
  14. Yes, similar shifting, but I realized since it shifted kinda high I was getting a bit of wheel hop on the 1-2 shift. Lowered shift points and stopped the hop and actually was a bit quicker.
  15. I want to say there are three different types of tunes avail. from LMS. 1. First LMS tune which isn't known as "aggressive", the first one they came out with. 2. Aggressive tune which had firmer shifts and something else change (can't remember off the top of my head) 3. Chris Larsen special (me)... which is lowered shift points (proven to be quicker) and while in sport mode if you use the paddle shifters it kept the gear you wanted no matter how much throttle you gave (10% vs 100%).... which is good for dynoing and good if you just didn't want the car to downshift http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/21158-0-60-quarter-mile-stock-tuned-edge-sport-thread/
  16. If you want something you can just install and not have to tweak or log in order to get maximized performance then stick with Livernois. If you want something where you are adding additional modifications to your SUV to make it faster or want to squeeze every single bit of hp out, then look for Unleashed Tuning. Both are good and will give you a good bump in hp.
  17. I wish there were more folks who went to the track At least with different tunes to see how they all stand up to each other... other then me buying from three tuners, I guess I can be that voice, LOL
  18. "The transmission tune has firmer shifting and an overall more aggressive shift strategy which is the primary changes to the tune." according to LMS

    Tube Clamps

If anything I think AMS also said WORM bolt clamps are also good, but they stick with the traditional stuff.

    Tube Clamps

I agree with T Bolt clamps as a safety measure, haven't popped off any hoses though, even with the high boost at high rpm.
  21. Interesting... well I sent the logs and hopefully they will have some insight on what went on.
  22. DA was maybe -1300. Pump gas. LMS didn't say anything about winter gas but through logging I could see timing being pulled through logs. If I put some 100 I'm sure the timing would be back to normal and could have been faster.
  23. Yes, I have experience both. As mentioned above, the Unleashed tune has been on a halt for about 4 months now to myself (maybe some select people have gotten it, but I keep trying to get the latest and have been told to wait). LMS is the fastest at this point, and drive ability is excellent. There are positives and negatives with each one, and plan on doing a full review once I can get a good baseline tune from Torrie @ unleashed.
