  1. Hey Ionsys. Are you talking about the plunger type screw that is attached to the gas tank door that pushes the plunger behind the door, It is made of plastic? If so how does it screw in? Thanks
  2. Well it doesn't. I don't understand why either. Maybe they figure your on your way to the car so why bother? In reality not very important to me since it only works within reach of the key fob, so you are about at the car when you can do it. Open is helpful when your car is sitting close by and you have some time prior to getting in it. I might turn mine off as I would never want to accidentally open them without knowing and get caught in a rain storm. Guess it is possible to butt call the windows.
  3. 2016 Edge Sport. Global window open only opens my front windows. Global close does nothing, so windows remain open. Anyone know why or is my vehicle messed up?
  4. You can get them powder coat for about $600.00 and pocket the remainder. Just say'n
  5. Finally got my VIN on Thursday. Enjoy your your ride. Mine"s Ruby Red with all the bells and whistles.
  6. I didn't think the 3.5L in the Edge was a Turbo as stated above? Was it a Turbo in the F-150?
  7. I didn't pay attention to the noise level, sorry. If you do mostly city driving I would imagine the 2L would be fine. Hill climbing and highways the 3.5. Sometime during your ownership gas will be back to $3.00+ dollars a gallon. Too many choices, wouldn't you say? I did the same thinking between the Titanium and Sport. I also had to consider the stiffer ride of the sport and than 20 or 21 inch wheels which would effect the ride. All this stuff kept me occupied for a long time. My big point was Sync 3. I passed on a 2015 hoping Sync 3 would be in the 2016 and of course it was. Let us know what you decide and there are plenty of driving reviews on you tube. Watch Alex on Autos, he does a great review of the entire car.
  8. I drove both and fund what I thought I would. The 2.0 feels a bit faster off the line but the 3.5 really kicks in once you get the REVs up. For me the 3.5 would be more fun to drive on the highways. I like fun so I would have gotten the 3.5 but deiced to get a Sport instead. I did feel the 2.0 had enough power to do whatever I needed it to do I live up at 5000 feet and a round trip to Phoenix is a total of 8000 feet of climbing. On the test drive I went down 2000 feet and it had plenty of power to get back up. Why don't you take them both for a drive. I would do them one right after the other. I really do like that mileage with the 2.0 and you have paddle shifters and sport mode. How are you going to drive the car most of the time. For me I either go 3 miles (small town) or 200 miles on a trip to the valley. I hardly ever do anything in between. It's all relative to they way YOU think the car drives.....Good luck.
  9. I just plucked the 2016 brochure off the Ford "Shopping Tools" link on their home page. I guess they fixed the link.
  10. Today, Ford finally posted a link on their site to download the 2016 brochure but it is not working. Chatted with Ford and they are pushing it up the line for resolution. If anyone can pick this off the shopping tool site on Ford can you please post it. I will keep checking as well.
  11. See how things go for the first 3 years. You can always buy the extended warranty just prior to the 3yr/36MO expiration. Ford might fix by then.
  12. Why isn't the dealer providing tires as well? Why aren't they making you whole if it was their fault? I guess you signed off on the car?
  13. Thanks again for your response. First was the powered steering wheel. I was hoping that is the way it was with the privacy glass. Now I can save a few bucks on tinting and make sure the dealer does not try to sell me something I don't need. How's it going with your new ride? Does it seem like the milage might improve?
  14. I realize this is a subjective question but is it still necessary to tint the windows if they come from the factory with Privacy Glass. I am asking because I am trying to figure out if I want the rear windows and hatch window tinted prior to picking up my car. My dealer is 150 miles from home so I do not want to travel to pick up the car and than decide I want them done. Of course they are always trying to sell tint. I want them tinted to some level but am hoping the tint from the factory will suffice. There are laws in Arizona about the front windows being to dark. It is hard to know when you look on the dealers lot if the window tint is stock or they had it applied.
  15. Boosed Edge; One more thing. Enjoy your new ride............ALOT.
  16. Thanks Boosted Edge. I will sleep well tonight........
  17. That's great. I hat rattles. Glad it was easily solved.
  18. The adaptive steering will be interesting for me as well as the lane change stuff. At the last minute I opted for the 20 inch wheels. One of my reasons was hoping for a bit softer ride. That and the 21 inch tires are lots more dollars. Especially if you need to replace all 4 because of the AWD. That said the 21 inch wheels are AWSOME. Enjoy your ride. Keep us informed.
  19. LOL; Hard to sleep. Some say I am quite anal. I like to get what I pay for. Isn'r it your bed time yet?
  20. In the US it is not part of a package but is supposed to be standard........
  21. If anyone out there in the good old USA has taken delivery of their 2016 Sport Edge can you please tell me if it came standard with the Power Tilt/Telescoping Steering wheel? Thanks
  22. Thanks. It is supposed to be standard here as well. No place to option it out. How you liking the ride?
  23. Sweet Candy; Hope you got your Edge and are loving it. Can you tell me about the steering wheel? Many Thanks
  24. Big $$ for the BAMR. I hardly ever use mine as well but did order it as the wife wanted it.. I live out in the mountains and very dark at night. Lots of two lane blacktop. Nice to have it open at night. If I lived in a urban area I would have passed. It's just personal preference. I passed on the 21 inch rims although I really like them. To each his/her own. Enjoy whatever you decide to get......
