Are you guys applying these on top of the factory protector or removing it first?

2016 Sport When setting up the adaptive steering, the choices are "Sport" or "Normal" and either can be selected when in Sport or Drive mode. My question is: Is normal mode "normal adaptive steering" or NO adaptive steering? I am guessing it is Normal (regular) adaptive steering and the sport mode does some kind of enhancement. If this is the case can you guys really tell the difference between Normal and sport modes?

2016 Sport Can someone, anyone, everyone confirm that I have the operation of the windshield wipers correct? This is how I read the manual. If you place the stalk in the "B" position you have EITHER autowipers or intermittent wipers. Which you have depends on whether or not the "Rain Sensor"setting is checked or unchecked in the settings options. Checked= Autowipers, unchecked= intermittent wipers. Is this correct? I wish they would would call the either "rain sensing" or "auto" and not go back and forth. Thanks for any clarification.

It's gone. Thanks. I say they should not put any permanent type sticker that is not required by law. If I don't want it, it should be easy to remove. I asked my dealer not to put their name on my car and they didn't. I mean it's MY car. If it part of the design fine, but a letter of thanks with a free oild change would make me happier.

2016 Sport. What is the best method for removing the "Thank You " sticker from inside the windshield? Seems stuck on there really good. Thanks

This may have been asked and answered sometime in the past but I could not find any reference to it. 2016 Edge Sport. If I am on adaptive cruise and a car moves in front of me causing the cruise control to slow me down, does the brake light come on? Thanks

2016 Sports come with 5 years of Travel Link at no additional cost. Don't know about the other models.

What happened?

X2 on the Heatshield. I saved the shipping fee from buying local. It was strange because my local guy (over the internet) placed the order with Heatshield in California. It was shipped from the CA factory but shipping was free Vs ordering directly from the factory. Strange. You can order either Gold or Silver reflective side. The other side is black to draw heat in during the winter. That's the theory anyway. Try these guys www.autoheatshield.com Check out these guys and see if they will ship it for free Vs the factory in CA. The factory wanted $20.15 to ship to me in Arizona and I am right next door. Price was the same $39.95. Not sure if they will ship to Miss for free, but try.

2016 Sport here, same exact problem. Figured it was just tight because it is new. Doesn't bother me very much. No big deal for me except it doesn't work as advertised. I will hang out and what you guys come up with.

Sorry I started this whole thing. . Making it selectable is the solution. I like the chime thing also. By the way if the passenger has their FOB and the driver leaves with the door open, does it still honk? I could go test it but easier to ask here.

I would like to see the seats improved for comfort. I know this is a personal issue but the MKX has some great seats. I think the Edge seat could be improved with minimal cost. I would like to see turn by turn window pane on the NAV system available as a top level option, instead of digging into menus. Sometimes I just want to see how the NAV is routing me. Scan on the Radio would be nice to have. Makes it simple to find stations as you move down the road. An easy way to disable the double horn honk if you walk away from the car while it is running and all the doors are closed. I am a big boy it should be my choice if I want it or not. Especially if the car has keypad entry. Other than these little things I think the car is awesome.

Something going on. Maybe Microsoft did Sync 3 and we have to re-boot every so often just for the heck of it. I am sure it is some complicated code that needs the bugs worked out. The first time it happened to me I had just had my front windows tinted and was sure to use some non metallic material that was guaranteed NOT to interfere with GPS, Radio etc. (I used Suntek Cxp) I thought they may have used a different product. That said, it has been 2 months since that first incident and yesterday so something else must be going on. Let's see if we get more responses.

2016 Sport. Four times the Navigation has had a failure. A failure message appears on the Nav screen and the screen goes blank. The only way I have found to remedy this problem is to do a system reset by holding the audio power button and the forward button (>>>) simultaneously for a few seconds. The system re-boots and the route is as normal. Anyone else experiencing anything like this?

The Etis site shows my VIN as a 2015 model. The sticker says 2016 and the car does have the power steering wheel that was standard in the 2016. Also feels like I have adaptive steering which was not available until 2016 model as well as sync 3. Build date is 2/9/2016. Fairly sure it is a 2016 but wondering why Etis states 2015 and if the car will be treated as such in the Ford system? Any ideas?

I had a clear bra put on my 2016 Sport. I had the tech hand cut a piece of the product and apply it to the area around the tray. He did a great job. If you didn't know it was there you would never see it. When I show it to people they have to run their finger over the edges to believe me. I agree, why Ford used shinny black plastic is a mystery. They should have used the same material that is above the glove box. Sort of carbon fibre looking. Would have tied in better as well. I would post a picture but you wouldn't be able to see the film. That's the point. Wrapping or covering with a different looking material is a good idea as well. I have seen entire cars wrapped in different colors.

It's the turbos winding down. A beautiful sound if you ask me!

The Titanium comes with a trial of Sirius so the Shark Fin should be there to stay. I believe a spare is included. Was with my 2016 Sport. I was also concerned about the Goo. Just go to a dealer and look! I believe only the turbo 4 has the start/stop feature. That is all I think I know. If I ever think I know more I will post.

I supposedly ordered my 2016 Sport through the Costco program. In reality I don't think the dealer did a Costco deal but Costco told me their agreed to price was $500.00 above invoice and I got it for under invoice. So don't really care Costco or not. Easy to get invoice pricing on line.
