  1. FYI - Some of you might have noticed that I posted the same thing in several threads, I did this because the V3 is a Ford Edge Forum member exclusive and it will help people find the V3 when doing an internet search for Edge ST and Sport CAI. I apologize to the members for this if any found it offensive. Thanks, Xtra PS . Just finished and shipped those two V3 I was working on.

  6. Working on two more V3 orders and they are almost ready to ship, just waiting for the filters to arrive. There were two remaining V3 available in this run, but sacrificing one lid to become a jig has worked out great and has improved quality and consistency. Because of that, now there is only one remaining V3 available at this time.
  7. I forgot to mention all of them are 2 1/2 inch in, and 2 1/2 inch out so an adaptor would be needed to hook up to the OEM 2 1/4 inch exhaust. But I am looking at going to a 2.5 inch cat back res delete system anyway.
  8. Did a little research last night on cross pipes while thinking about a resonator delete . I ran across three mufflers that have internal cross pipes and one with an H pipe. Starting in order of last choice to first choice . This is just my opinion and not based on anything else. I also do not have all the dimensions on any of them. So not sure if they will fit in the space that the resonator was in. In third place is the Dynomax. Dynomax come in third place because it has one pipe that has straight flow through and the second pipe looks like it is cut in half and is just butted up to the other pipe. All the exhaust gas from that pipe has to pass through all those small holes as the straight pipe appears to be not cut on it's sides. Thus making it not a true X pipe. If the sides are cutout making it a true X pipe then I would reconsider. In second pace is the Magnaflow TRU-X This looks like a good choice for a quieter muffler but, it looks like it has two pipes in and out that connect to a mesh cone shaped screen and again is not a true cross pipe. In first place and my choice is the Pypes X=Box this design combines a true X pipe with a muffler that I believe would make a good resonator delete option though not as quiet as the Magnaflow Tru-X or the Dynomax It is also offered as an H-Pipe

  10. Modified a V3 lid into a jig to help create a more precise gasket seal that is easily repeated. Added aluminum with brass shims to set the crush on the lid's foam gasket to the Adaptor.
  11. Thats great news , thanks for the quick reply.
  12. First thanks for the props, but Wow!... that is an amazing improvement of 2.7 MPG City`````` or 13.5% better milage . And 3.4 MPG better HWY milage, that equals 14% better fuel economy. This is fantastic and you did this on a proven route you have been taking for 2 years. And you have the photos to back it up. To look at it another way you are saving up between 13.5 and 14% per gal of gas. If you are paying $3.79 per gal that is the equivalent savings of 51 to 53 cents per gal and on a 16 gal fill up the savings add up fast....around $8 per fill up in extended milage. Here in California with our crazy gas price of 5.79 gal or more that would equal 78 to 81 cents per gal in savings, and on a 16 gal fill up it would be the equivalent of $12.50 to $13 per tank of extended range. The fuel savings will add up over the life of the car and the V3 will pay for itself many times over. Plus you get more performance and HP, and as a bonus, the V3 looks killer ( IMHO ). It appears that the V3 is working better than I first expected, and this feedback is a very pleasant surprise. Thank you MB022803 for your review and enjoy your V3.
  13. If you get a chance VanDookie54 could you please answer some questions I have about your 295 tires now that you have had them on for awhile. . 1. Is your car stock height or do you have the H&R springs? 2. Have you had a full load of 4 or more passengers in the car? and if so did the tires rub at all. Over bumps ? 3. Are they wearing evenly? Thanks, Xtra
  14. Thats what I said I would do if gas ever hit $5 a gal. Now I would be happy to pay that. We get ripped off here big time. They are trying to force us into EVs. and they just put on a flex alert because it is so hot the grid might go down. No charging of EVs during the flax alert at certain hours . This state is crazy.
  15. I would think that you would need to add some new tires and rims to get started. These photos should give you some good ideas.
  16. WOW! I am so jealous. The best we can get here in Calif is 91 and it sure ain't $3.69 a gallon. This is a gas station in DTLA one week ago, it does cost less where I get my fuel at the local Costco .
  17. V2 fits 2015 to 2018 Edge all models, and the V3 fits Edge ST and Sport with the 2.7EB. I am sorry they will not fit on your 2019 2.0 EB, but thanks for your interest.
  18. The brakes pads had only 1 mm left and one pad was so thin I could read a newspaper through it. ? lol
  19. They look in good shape with lots of life left in them . $600 is a great deal .
  20. It all started in early August when the the car lost boost. And then the dominos started to fall. ... Bought a brand new FMIC $$ from Ultimate Performance and had it installed at Galpin Auto Sports $$. When working on the IC the tech noticed that the brake pads were shot... So new front and rear pads were ordered from Rotora $$ and installed today $$. Got lucky as the discs still have life in them, but all 4 will need replacing next time pads are needed. When the tires came off to install the brake pads, we discovered all 4 tires were completely shot and unsafe. So... 4 new tires were ordered today $$ to be installed tomorrow $$. Also did an oil & filter change at 2,500 miles $$. The car required all this maintenance and I defiantly used up every bit of life in the parts before any damage was done. August was full of surprises and very expensive, but now my car is is in tip top shape. The uneven wear is caused by the track alignment settings I use. It makes the car stick like glue and turn in great at the cost of tire life. Lots of people get 40K out of just one set of tires this is my 5th or 6th set in 40K and my third set of brake pads. The price of living just one block off Mulholland You can see the Bilstein shock and the H&R spring that transformed the suspension for the better. The tires were dangerous to drive on and the damage could not be seen by just walking around the car.
  21. Yes It does fit the 2016 Edge Sport as well as the ST . As long as you have an Edge with the 2.7EB it will fit. I will PM you with the info.
