Bottom spoke is hollow but it is 2 turns lock to lock to lock. Turned wheel with it off and steering wheel did nothing when turned back on. Not sure if this identified anything or not lol.

Did they really remove it though? Seems odd it was on last years and not now. I know they don't list it but there are lots of unlisted things now a days. It also seems like i move the wheel less than my old one on the highway but seems about the same as the 18 sport I drove.

Mine does too but the article says some not all. So I'm thinking they found the bug and held the STs until they had a fix. The Nautilus was shipping and on lots before the edge/ST was and came with the more advanced driver assist features that the edge gets if it has the 301 or 401 package. I could be way off but made in same plant, same platform and similar features, likely similar issues.

I would say that would be the start date. Mine there says 11 14 18 but mine was completed on the 19th

That is the thing. I have tried both drive and sport and I hear no change in sound at all, even when accelerating. I've watched youtube videos and I agree the sound is obvious,even at idle, in mine though it just isn't there. I'm going to have to get forscan and see if it's turned on or not.

I picked up my edge on Saturday. I haven't put on many miles yet but but it shifts smooth and am loving it so far. Huge upgrade over my 13 sel. Headlights do seem to adjust around. There is no engine noise piped in or if there is it's so subtle I can't hear a sound change at all. Anyone having shifting issues should have thier edge checked out.

Haha well looked at the other side today and there is no chrome. Sales guy noticed it on one side and said it bugged him but didn't think to check the other so it is being swapped out for a black piece. The heated steering wheel icon is there. I guess they took the complaint of no physical button for it serious and changed it in a firmware update according to my sales guy. There is also no piped in engine sounds. I hear no difference in drive or in sport.

I'll check that today. One thing I notice and had to compare with everyone's st on here is that the black triangle piece in front of the side view mirrors is wrong on mine. Mine currently has chrome on it. I don't have a close up pic but you can see it in this one

I'll be going with some nokian studded hakkapeliitta 9's or 8's if I can't find 9's. I haven't found a tire that can beat it. As for the charger I haven't picked mine up yet so I can't say yet.

It showed up today and yes it's blue. ? It looks so much better actually seeing it. I should have possession next week. Order date was Sept 17th.

I don't think they do. Mine doesn't show up either and always end up pestering my dealer.

I have a set on my 2013 and have put 30k to 40k km on them, run winters and were at about 50 percent when I bought the edged so hard to totally judge mileage. For wear they seem ok but I find them loud.

I figured the 7000 on hold, mostly st's, would freak some out. Was surprised my dealer told me that. Said it could be them going over them thoroughly which happens with new models but who knows.

Can't offer any reason but can say what I was told that may freak some out. I have no eta on mine but was informed there are about 7000 edges on hold in some form or another, mostly sts. So there are alot waiting.

Mine was ordered same day and built same day with everything but brake pack but has yet to be delivered.

I thought I read somewhere that the being built stage took 4 weeks. Seemed slow to me though.

The 2.0l uses the new 8 speed (gm 9 speed with one gear removed). The 2.7l uses a revamped 6 speed developed back in 2002 with gm but with 2 gears added, guessing its a revision of the 6 speed we all know in previous edges. There is also supposedly another one yet that is smaller and for low torque uses.

Exactly to me an st is a trim level that performs and handles better than the standard models. I'm however not sure what people are hoping for in an rs especially those complaining on the price of an st since a rs focus is twice the price of an st focus. I can also already hear all the complaints about the overly stiff suspension...
