  1. The tunes are being revised gradually. It is unknown what the new trans and ptu can handle. The ST also has a different engine management system so has to be tuned different. If you compare the 2 dyno charts though the ST is down in hp but puts out more torque with the current tune over the sport, so it may never see the gains the sport gained with a tune it'll be amazing if it does though with nothing blowing up and if they can relax the torque management in 1st and 2nd.
  2. Mostly for some noise control and looks because they can't seem to make an engine look good very often now a days.
  3. Thank you! It's like with anything there is good and bad. I don't doubt that there are really good hids out there that beat the ST leds but the ford ones I have seen don't, never tried a FoST. It doesn't matter what the specs or technical data tells you if the implementation isn't good. Theory only gets you so far.
  4. You obviously didn't read my other post so please read above. Livernois is a little over 370 MOTOR with just their tune. With a few other extras you could get there. When people wish it came with 400 hp from factory they aren't talking wheel numbers. Also yes the housing and beam pattern I find much better than the hids in older models and are by far better than hids I've driven with factory equiped, no they weren't halogen. This is my opinion. You probably haven't even driven one at night.
  5. How am I wrong? The St started with 30 more than the Sport so doesn't surprise me they got only 60 more from the St. Their own marketing material actually even shows the sport with 360 torque and St with 385. Granted they are showing wheel numbers and I was referring to motor numbers hence the high hp numbers in above post. 2018 https://www.livernoismotorsports.com/product/LPP631133 2019 https://www.livernoismotorsports.com/product/LPP631155
  6. The St and Sport are within a tenth of a second of each other at stock so I'm not sure that should be your deciding factor. Tunes are more evolved on the sport than st but end up currently having close to the same hp even after being tuned, 380-390hp(on motor). The St rides better and handles better than the sport i tested. St also has better headlights and fog lights that actually work and more safety features. Also most if not all bolt on sport mods will work on an ST because it's a refresh not a redesign. The only real arguments to be made for the sport is if you wanted to save some money and/or you liked the look of the sport better imo.
  7. You'd wouldn't run right if you were leaking fluids too. ?
  8. Can't comment on now but I ordered mine in Sept and got it in Jan.
  9. She has an SEL unless they did something funky at the factory, you will have the 8F35 transmision. The 8F57 was only used on the 2.7L, in the case of the edge only on the ST. So unfortunately doesn't apply.
  10. TSB helped with shifting. It does clunk sometimes when it is first started and put into drive or reverse but not very often. It definitely feels stronger though after break in.

    ST Sway Bar Size

I did too. I'm trying to find it in my spare time. I can't recall size but i know they are supposed to be solid.
  12. Grease will collect dirt and whatever else that will stick that will end up compacted in the channel than if you use a dry teflon lubricant. It's the main reason I don't recommend a grease.
  13. My ford dealer recommended basically any dry Teflon lubricant.
  14. When your plugs are so messed up your computer is trying to drastically compensate by adjusting timing and such, which happens over time. So when you put in new plugs the computer has to suddenly adjust everything because everything it now knows is wrong, which can cause it to throw random codes until it has time to adjust.
  15. https://www.zeroto60times.com/vehicle-make/ford-0-60-mph-times/ According to this site they are all within .1 of each other with a 7.1-7.3 0-60 and 15.6-15.8 1/4 mile.
  16. Assuming you cleared the codes and the error came back, if not then try that first, about all i can suggest is check the harness and the connector to the sensor. It's also possible that you have a bad sensor and the computer now recognizes it with fresh plugs and hopefully them not being coated in oil anymore.

    Edge ST MPG

I meant it would bring your calculations up to what the computer shows for the tank not what others are getting, but whatever you are right. Can't have a discussion without you repeating the same thing. I'll do you a favour and avoid your posts in the future.
  18. There was oil in the plug well too? Sorry missed that. Definitely do valve cover gaskets too Atleast.
  19. Possibly. One thing I did t realize that I just fou d out too is if your plugs are too warn and your gap is too big you can end up with oil on them and a new set can clear it up.

    Edge ST MPG

Holy man get off the your mileage sucks thing for just a sec. I posted that trying to explain why everyone who is calculating their own mileage is ending up lower than what the computer is saying and my quick math of what you are calculating and what I am thinking puts your mpg close to what your computer says.
  21. It can wreck your rings and seals that can cause all sorts of issues but it takes typically alot and would show on your dipstick.

    Edge ST MPG

From the looks of all your calculations I'm thinking the computer uses a 4l gallon for its calculations instead of 3.785 that is used to calculate us mpg. I've always assumed mine used us mpg because I know it doesn't calculate imperial mpg.
  23. Oh man sorry to hear that. Sounds like it's time to do a compression and leak down test.
