  1. Also interested. The video they posted makes it look like the diff moves around a few inches during WOT.
  2. I'm sure everything is fine. Most people don't even read the FSM, don't know about the full +1L and just do a drain and fill. Smoothness on decel is one thing I've noticed as well. I also had a slight vibration at idle depending on what RPM the vehicle was idling at. That appears to have gone away now or is deceased after the drain/fill/+1L.
  3. I think the 2022 FSM is a little more updated. The difference between the 5L and the 6L would be if the transmission was overhauled or if its just a drain/refill. If you added 6L at this step and the transmission was not overhauled I think its fine, there would just be more fluid draining out when you pull the leveling plug. Also if it was overhauled it still might be low when you pull the leveling plug so they have you add .25L at a time until it flows down the case correctly. From the 2022 FSM: 1. Transmission overhaul (includes main control and torque converter drain) Volume : 6.34 qt (6 L) 2. Main control overhaul or replace (with out transmission overhaul) Volume : 5.28 qt (5 L) So for the fill I put in 5L, got TFT up to 185 on jack stands, then pulled the leveling plug. The fluid looked like this: I let it drain right until it looked like this and then I installed the leveling plug: Then I buttoned everything back up and put in another 1L of fluid in as both the 2019 and 2022 FSM say to do. If you did not add that 1L, yours is underfilled. I put about 5K miles on the car since this flush and it shifts great. No weird shifts on the highway, no hunting for gears. It changes gears as it should. I also have Livernois updated tune but the tranny feels pretty good.
  4. They still show for me. https://i.ibb.co/nqz2chYt/PXL-20250410-182114947.jpg https://i.ibb.co/V0WGVyJP/PXL-20250410-192117856.jpg https://i.ibb.co/qYxTJ5t9/PXL-20250410-192239964.jpg https://i.ibb.co/603hHsSw/PXL-20250410-192305765.jpg https://i.ibb.co/k6WB0c95/PXL-20250410-193054966-MP.jpg https://i.ibb.co/mVyqJ0hB/PXL-20250410-200603818.jpg https://i.ibb.co/DHJDLQj3/PXL-20250410-204657626.jpg https://i.ibb.co/847d6NLW/PXL-20250410-193705384.jpg
  5. I went with the Amsoil SVG 75w85 in the PTU. The guys on Bobistheoilguy said the 85w would run ever so slightly cooler than a 75w90. And it makes sense to put a better than factory fluid back in. Theres a big Gear Oil Test thread where they test all the popular 75w90 gear oils on the market and the Amsoil came out on top of everything for the most part. Flash point, 4-ball wear, etc.
  6. Keep in mind the ST is "full +1 quart".
  7. Get the Bilsteins. The front left should be in stock soon or Summit may even have a couple. The front right is usually in stock. Rears always in stock.
  8. Its ok theres only like 8 people that still drive our cars I believe LOL.
  9. Since the 2019+ ST's call for 75w85 has anyone tried the Amsoil for a decent chunk of miles? https://www.amsoil.com/p/amsoil-severe-gear-75w-85-100-synthetic-gear-lube-svl/ That is all!
  10. How have you liked switching to Amsoil from the RP?
  11. @Haz Sir might you have a part # print out for 2019 Edge ST front strut/shock/dust cover/strut top/bump stop/etc ?
  12. I confirmed with Bellevue Ford tech that their service manual says the same about adding 1L once full to the 2019+ ST.
  13. Changed the fluid in the 2019 Edge ST today. 45k miles on it, fluid looked a touch red still and didn't stink. No metal shavings. TFT up to ~185 Drained 4.7 qt / 4.44 L Added 5.28 qt / 5 L per FSM TFT up to >185 Pulled leveling plug and drained .68 qt / .650 L out (until fluid dripped down side of case) Added 1.05 qt / 1 L after leveling plug back in (??? its what FSM said so I did it ..) No idea if I was low to begin with but I followed the FSM exact. 2022 Edge ST Transmission Fluid Drain and Refill (2).pdf 2019_edge_transmission.pdf
  14. If it helps anyone doing this themselves, I'm able to monitor transmission fluid temp (the TFT PID) using the MXLink obd2 bluetooth connector.
  15. Heres from the 2019 Edge ST FSM. This one is a little easier to read than the 2022 one that was posted in the other thread. Both have you adding 1 quart at the end, after you install the leveling bolt for the final time. The 2022 one posted has more info on going through gears though and is not mentioned in the 2019 one. 2019_edge_transmission.pdf
  16. You dont really have to worry about how much fluid the RDU takes if you can get the vehicle level. Just pump it in until it runs down the case and its full.
  17. Can confirm the 2019 ST FSM says the same thing. I'm getting ready to do my first fluid change at ~40K and will follow the FSM exactly.
