I don't know what the techs did, but these features are not working. I am registered at syncmyride.com and followed all directions. Was told by a rep from sync my ride, that the dealer needs to update the PTS web site. Called the dealer and was rudely told that they never had to update this site and that the other installs they did worked fine. How can we access the VHR and check to see if the 911 assist is indeed installed. BTW, I paid $40 for this and it seems they did nothing !

The reason the exhaust velocity is slower at the tail-pipe is because it is further down the line from the headers. The energy did decrease due to longer travel time! The energy doesn't decrease due to heat loss !!! What type of career field do you work Split...?

I believe that this issue falls between "bumper-to-bumper" Why would a fault in a new vehicle which is covered under warranty, not be covered under the warranty? Save yourself time and aggravation Vapor and possibly damaging something else along the way, and take your car in for service. Once you have messed with things such as removing dash board covers/plates and moving wires, then they can void your warranty claiming it is something you messed up. This forum is here for help and information and that is exactly what I have given to you. In response to your questions: It was a very good answer and one that would provide a solution to your problem. No, that is not my answer to all the posts in the forum. The warranty is there for a reason.....use it and let ford shell out the money to have their techs repair the problem.

Hot air or cold air being blown into the pipe to turn the impeller flows at the same rate. The airs velocity is greater at the headers. You want the air entering the engine to be cool, that is why turbo systems require intercoolers. Heat has absolutely nothing to do with the velocity of the exhaut gasses spinning the turbine

The velocity of the spent exhaust gasses is whats spinning the turbine on the turbo. Heat has nothing to do with it. I would look into a company called Incon.

Where is the dyno sheet for gains after installing this kit on the edge. I would like to see the chart with just the install of the kit, and the install of the kit with the tune. I have dealt with JDM, hypertech, diablo but never with steeda. Just a good tune on a car can yield results of 20+ hp 15lb. ft. + of torque. I love steeda products and have several of them in use on my Mustang. Bottom line......people want to see positive results in hp and torque. Thanks so much for the response Larry...... :beerchug:

I have an issue while having my i-pod hooked up and jamming to some tunes......I receive a call via bluetooth , radio shuts off and the rings begin.....at end of conversation the person hangs up and the display turns back to the song but I have no sound.....it thinks its playing the song because the counter is advancing.....everything looks normal on the readout, just have no sound. I do not have nav. 2008 Limited AWD.

Thanks bro, but I never saw the stickers on the rims. I know the part number I have is a genuine ford part number. Just want to know if there is any way I can know for sure if I got the redesigned rims from Lacks Chromtec. They did leave a small rectangular fluorescent green sticker on each rim about the size of a stamp. They also had a text that said "peel here" I do not know why they left these stickers on the rims. Maybe because they were a bitch to get off and left a sticky residue on the chrome plastic.

Ha, Ha.....I know it seems funny, which further reiterates my point. This is the God honest truth. They take classes on how to ......how do I put this......confuse people and leave them in the dark. With the internet and forums like this......consumers have a new found understanding and learning as to what is actually going on. I explained to the service manager of the new supplier of the chrome clad 18" rims and he looked at me like how in the hell does he know that.......I then proceeded to tell him the exact part # of the new rims and he went into the shop all pissed off mumbling under his breath. He came back about 5 minutes later saying all 4 rims will be replaced. I felt like asking him that if I bend over, will it make it easier for you to kiss my ass. A little knowldge goes a long way !

All the hoopla posted on here about having these defective rims replaced and nobody can answer my question. I just need to know if I received the new parts and not the leftovers. One thing I do know is that they re-used the ford center cap which is fine by me, since there was no corrosion on them. Help a cracka out people......I know more than you may ever know, but I need some outside info on this particular situation. :read:

I'm on my third dealer for service now.........and the one conclusion that I have come to is that service advisors are not necessarily the problem, rather the service managers. These guys take classes on how to be "assholes" and I kid you not, these classes teach them and instruct them to be vague and rude and just plain assholes. I have attended these classes, and if you don't believe me fine. Do the research and find out for yourself. If you can find a dealer where you have your car serviced to be honest and decent, good for you. I have not found this yet. My Dad always told me "once you sign those papers........your a piece of shit".

Damn, the Edge would stop on a dime and give you 9 cents in change........which you'll need if you buy this kit.
