  1. Oh, yeah the car will drop at least a half an inch more. You want a further drop, remove the spring isolators.....the spring isolators are the rubber rings the spring sits on. removal of the isolators will result in a slight noisier ride.
  2. Use the spray paint for wood stoves.........period.
  3. I love my LED third brake light.....2008 Limited from the factory.
  4. 20% here. Matces the rears perfectly. Most cops do not care, but some asshole cops do.
  5. I had the same problem, rough idle when brake is applied and rough idle when letting off brake but not applying gas. It was jerky. You need a camshaft position sensor as well as other parts associated with this sensor. Ford knows of this issue. We also needed an exhaust control valve solenoid.\Do not take offense, but lite is incorrect, it is light....I am a spelling freak.
  6. Paint takes a full month to cure. The paint is never cured after it leaves the factory. I don't know where you got your info from, but it is inaccurate. This is why you should never wax a new car until it is at least a month old going buy the build date. BTW, I am partial to the Blazing Copper
  7. It usually takes about a full month for the springs to settle. I don't know when your springs were installed in relation to this pic, but at first, you notice a slight drop, it may drop another half inch depending on the spring type.
  8. Sounds like a loose mount for the window. This will be evident if you have the window halfway down and pull up on the window and it pulls up or goes down, if it is secure then I am wrong
  9. Told ya you'd see the "rusty" muffler That looks really good. The oval tips fill out the cut-out in the bumper very nicely. Now all we need is a sound clip.
  10. Thanks Securinu, I am interested. Check your PM's.
  11. Sand the metal, clean with alcohol and use a flat black spray paint that they use on wood stoves. This paint is much better than the zip boys high temp spray paint. You will have zero issues with rusting. The paint can be found at any fireplace shop or on-line. http://www.northlineexpress.com/itemdesc.asp?ic=5SA-8115
  12. Bastards at the dealership probably drilled 2 big holes in the bumper
  13. I don't dial 911............... I dial.357 and yes, I know it dials automatically in the event of a collision.
  14. LMFAO @ poppy cock ! Lets just agree to disagree. On the rip, I had a bad day and felt like venting.....you were just first to cross my path. Please accept my sincerest apology :beerchug:
  15. The yellows are "true" fog lights. Much greater visibility in fog. However , I think it comes down to personal taste. I would prefer the yellows because it looks bad ass at night, nice contrast with the headlights.
  16. You found it "rude" how exactly was I rude about asking a question on a forum. This is why this forum exists. Anyone who posts a question, you tell them to do a search......lets just cut off posting and make this site a search engine. There are several ways to do this simple mod and I asked a simple question. If you cannot/ will not help, don't bother to spew posts. Everyone knows there is a search feature, maybe they want more current information as things are constantly changing. Do you know the definition of a "Troll" I'm sure you do, watching your post count go higher and higher and gaining satisfaction because of it. You do have some useful info, but this trolling needs to stop......you either started a post or replied to one......Get a life :yup:
  17. Because I read through your little pissing contest as to wheter a wire is red or orange with the other guy who had an excellent write up on the install. Why waste your time typing a response when you didn't answer my question. I would like a concise answer of what parts I need and where I can get them
  18. What exactly do I need to buy and where can I get it, in order to complete the light mod. I did do a search Lex, but I do not have time to read 50 pages. All help is appreciated !
  19. Looks like they also painted the chrome around the fogs too. Looks like an expedition. Having the chrome around the fogs and the "chrome" rims, the painted grille would look out of place. I think all chrome would have to be removed for a clean smooth look.
  20. Your the reason new cars cost so much. Stealing is wrong :angry2:
  21. That's a cheap price. The motorcraft filter is $13.00
  22. This is very true. Seals need to be installed in sequence, and pre-heated prior to installing. One would assume an ASE certified tech would know this.....
