I consider my front plate and bracket a good buffer between my bumper and the idiots that lack depth perception and hit other cars in the snout when parking nose to nose with them.

Good thing you read the manual for us. I missed that part, good to know that is an option-thanks!

I got the 6 months free too. It worked from day one. I did not sign up for it after the trial period, and my radio still shows Sat 1, Sat 2 and Sat 3.

Not too long ago there was a thread about how someone parked their Edge for a few days and the battery died and were not sure why. My Edge will be parked for an extended period of time, and I am wondering if I need to worry about the same thing, and is there anything else I need to be concerned about? It will be late October/early November into December. Unattached garage kept. It will be cold here. Yesterday I had it serviced; oil change, tires rotated and filled. No problems found. My iPod will be unplugged and I will make sure no interior lites are on. Would starting it and letting it run a bit be enough to keep it from having problems getting back on the road?

Lex, I like you even more now. Not many people would care. All creatures lives have value. He may have been chasing something, snack before bed. Also, being out that time of day he may have been ill. Coyotes are nite creatures and to see one with daylite not far off is not incredibly normal. It is an unfortunate fact of life that animals run out in front of cars, wild and domestic. I rescue dogs, and I hear stories about people losing their pets that way too often. They just don't understand that cars are bigger and faster than they are.

Skip the flames, do the rest. Lex will probobly offer up some other suggestions.

Be nice, they are just lights.

Out of curiosity, why would that happen?

That may be their part #. I would confirm that it is a Bushwacker brand and their part number. This cover is also made for the xD and some other little tiny toyota hatchback. It looks the same, but the size is important, and the xB is the bigger of the Toyotas it is made for.

http://www.woodys-auto-supply.com/performa...prod=L22-114001 These people ship to Canada, and I also found one on Ebay in Canada. Or google the part name and number with Canada added and you may find some more.

During my General Motors purchasing experiences, the dealers would try to sell me 'paint shield' for a bunch of $$$. It is yellow wax. I hate to see how that guy treats female customers. Let me guess, the Edge would come with a force field.

The ones I have under the cabinet are only about 3" big, and the more you are willing to spend the smaller and better lit they get. Stick one on the ceiling of the glove box and no one will see it, easy to turn on and off. Your lites are awesome, but some (or all) of us do not have your talent, so a good low tech solution. My ipod lives in the tray, so I just hit the button to turn on the display, or use the over head lite to see. Snuggies are awesome! It gets frickin cold here. I got a free book lite with mine. Lex-can you integrate "The Clapper" to turn on the LED's in an Edge? Maybe a Chia Dashboard to eliminate reflections and to be more green? 36 PM' post='31186'] "tap lights" make me think of those cheezy As Seen on TV late night commercials... the ones that are the size of a small plate and cheap white plastic that turns dingy yellow in time even in your closet. I think if you buy a Snuggie you get 3 tap lights yeah, the newer LED ones are a bit more modern and cool, not as bulky, but not "integrated" enough for my tastes. Why would your iPod light up the center console? don't you have it set to have the backlight off? either way, since I never take out my ipod, it is down in the bottom of my console. with no light in that center console, it is a total dead zone below the top coin holder... the LED lights I put in are money and make all the difference in the world.
-
I'll take that as a compliment Lex :shades: Tee hee. I have some LED ones over my counter. Not very bright for that, unfortunately, but perfect size and brightness for a glove box, just put it where you can't see it. Honestly, I never noticed there was not a lite in there. I don't use it except for the owners manual, can't reach it from the driver's seat. My iPod lites up the console.

I am thinking one of those little AA battery powered tap lights for under kitchen cabinets.

Aren't they the same body? It should.

I think it will fit 2007-2010, but not positive about 2010.

I was looking for the wrong one. I do not have a kill switch under there, just the diagnostic port apparently. Sorry for the goof. If I have ever noticed it down there prior, it must not have been a memorable experience.

First post, 4th picture plug on the right is what I found. Is the one on the left what we are talking about? I will look again and see if it coiled up underneath or something.
-
What do you mean just noticing it? I have never had a reason to look down there until this thread.

GPS's are very popular items to be stolen, so be careful about leaving evidence of a gps, like a mount or permanent mount on the dash or suction cup rings on the windshield. They do a lot of damage to the car to get a 200 dollar gps.

I found it, right there in the center. The little holes are exposed, so no key for me.

Only singer it probobly recognizes is Celine Dion. Yea - I find that if I end every command with "eh?" it works a little better.

When will Turbonetics TT come out?
igcitng replied to Filtercharged07's topic in Interior, A.C., Heat, Interior Trim
I hope if this mod becomes reality that you will drive it responsibly. My life took a 180 last summer when a 16 year old kid with a BMW that was too much car for him took me and my truck out. -
No wonder my Sync does not know what I am saying.

I will crawl under there tonite and see if there is one, and look to see where mine was built if that is on the door sticker. Do they install these to try to sell them or do the dealers use them to keep theft down? Would it be listed on the window sticker?
