Those keyhold plugs look kinda cool. Did those ever turn out to be legit? Could they be removed if you needed to use a key to get in?

Wow, that is wild. Were they Ford wipers or another kind? I change mine no less than twice a year so mine would never get the chance to mold likely. So how would the smell get in the car? Just curious. Or was it a windows open smell?

The wipers? Sorry, unless you have 1,000 sf wiper there is no way that that amount of mold could stink up a car and a garage. This may be too simple an answer, but if someone thinks their car is making their garage stink, they are backwards. Landscape waste dog poopy and trash stored in it until pickup day that is what makes the car stink. Or something else decaying in there.

Could you disable to electric door if you have to park outside? Then the remote would not work if they got into the car.

There is a lot to see online. When shopping I used the internet to get the info and pics I needed and also bought a consumer reports on suv's-priceless info in there.

If you mean with the window all of the way up, no. It is snug. When you put them in, be careful of that protective tape on the front ones, try not to wrinkle it. I think these are easier for guys to install, anyone a little taller and a little stronger. They bend a lot but they fight back.

One issue that has come up is that on the front ones, where it sits on the window ledge, have a protective piece of rubbery tape right there that wraps to both sides. It has wrinkled and come off. I emailed them to ask if I can get spares and in the mail I get a big roll of sticky tape. Otherwise I like them. Front driver door one a little loose.

I updated my phone last nite and this media thing just happened today when I was going to work. Saturday I went to the store and bought a regular iPod because it seems that plugging in the phone and unplugging it was just causing trouble. Phone not working, iPod locking up, and recently my phone has been acting up, so my thought was to to eliminate it as a tune source completely. So I asked one of the iPod Igeeks if the new shuffle was compatible and he said no, so I bought a nano. Have not opened it, so I was so hopeful today when the iPod worked magically. But updates reboots and resetting the blue tooth has not worked, so not sure what else I could do. Maybe I will just unwrap my new one . . .

Today my Edge surprised me with Media Stream. It works except that the ffw and reverse controls and voice controls for next track do not work and the music cuts out every few seconds. I went online for support and was told to reboot my phone, do the Sync 2.0 update and reinstall bluetooth. Did all that and nothing changed. Any experience with this? Is it worth the hassle? Thanks.

Does anyone know if the new iPod Shuffle, the brand new one with the controls on the headphones, can be used with the Sync system?

I paid $50.00 for the labor. When I received the brochure in the mail I assumed it was part of my purchase price. I did hear some dealers do it for free. Look at it this way, if you or whoever needs it to call 911 it was worth every penny.

The grille is so big compared to the Buick (Enclave/Traverse style you mean?), but this one is so much more slanty and pointy at the end. Maybe it would look better in context with the rest of the car. Will the Edge look like that too?

I found a setting like you said. It looks like it was set to do it automatically or to ask every 5000 miles. Weird thing is that it does not even have 5000 miles yet. I turned off the 'auto run'. Not sure if it will only do it every 5k or if it will never do it again.

Last week and this week I am experiencing the Sync system interrupting my tunes while driving and asking if I want to run a vehicle health report. Last week I ran one and twice it said cannot send, but it sent anyway, I got two emails. It was current because the milage was right. Said to get the oil changed at 7500. Is this normal? She is getting annoying.

I am a Ms., not a Mr. and there is no Mrs. I can buy nice cars by myself.

I had a Tahoe that started to make a loud whining noise. Noticed it more when it was low on gas, it turned out to be the fuel pump going bad, and it was new. Could it be a speaker? Could make noise even if the radio is turned down.

The Venza IS a car. Much lower than either the Edge or Caddy. I love my Edge. Handles great. I test drove one in the snow and was impressed. Great in the rain, really grabs the road. I drove it around a muddy fairgrounds with no problems. Not sure if anyone will agree, but I would consider the Cadillac in a whole different class than the Edge based on price. For more money it should be better at pretty much everything.

Edge's come with climate control? Did not know that. Wonder what else I am missing. I tried what you said and it made for a much more comfortable ride home. Not as cool as I would like, but 99 degrees and humid is hard to fight. Unusual weather for us. Thanks again.

I really appreciate your post. It has been 99 degrees and SUPER humid here for three days now and my Edge just does not cool off after sitting in the sunny parking lot all day, even after driving 30-45 minutes. I do open the windows to let the hot air out, and put it on MAX for a short time. I was afraid to leave it on MAX and have the fan on high because I did not want to stress the system in the awful heat.
