I ordered a Sport on 12/10. I received an email from my dealer this past Saturday that it will be built first week of Feb and receive it by third week of Feb. I hope there aren't any delays and I can get it by then. The dreadful wait begins lol.

Hey guys, Couple of days ago, I placed an order for the 2016 Sport AWD. I got it in black, with the 21 inch rims, 401A package, panoramic roof, and cold weather package. Now the gruesome wait begins lol. I had a question for Sport owners out there: Have you seen performance difference between regular gas (in NY reg is 87) and premium gas? I have read on this forum before that for the best horsepower and torque numbers, it is better to use premium gas for Ecoboost engines.

Any chance it was delayed due to this reason? Maybe they thought of equipping it with new hardware?

If I get the 2015 Edge now, will it update to Sync 3? I ask because I know initially it will ship with the current gen Sync. I've heard you will be able to upgrade, but is there confirmation on this? Or should I wait before buying?

Any chance that unnamed Ford Model is the 2015 Edge?

Something weird happened today. I received the Black Screen for the first time (2011 Ford Edge Sport). I pulled the fuse multiple times (the main fuse that delivers power to fuse 29). The radio worked for about a minute each time, but then turned off. However, the screen never came on. It was always stayed on the black screen. Any ideas what this might be?

I have a 2011 Sport. As much as I like my Sport, the new Sport looks really nice, especially in that Goldish color.

Any idea when the new Edge will be unveiled? They unveiled the concept back in November (6 months ago!). I want to see the production model already!

Hey guys, went to my Ford dealer yesterday to get an oil change. The main service head told me that the new update is slick and light years faster than the current system. They had a 2013 SHO and they were test driving it. The system responded quicker, recognized your voice better, and the system overall was way smoother. I asked him when I shouls except to see the new Nav SD Card and the USB for the update. He told me that Ford told him in 2-3 weeks, which means by the end of March. I have to see it to believe it, but let's hope it is true, both the rumor date and the better MyTouch.

I have a White Sport (fully loaded except for the cargo package) and it is totally amazing!!! Go with the sport because those 22 inch rims are surprisingly very smooth. I don't feel any bumps in the road that I used to feel in my 08 Edge (which had 18 inch rims). Plus the Sport looks different and will get you a lot of compliments. Yea the limited has HIDs and that is the only option that I wanted, but the Sport is totally worth it. By the way, even though the Sport might "be slower with a bigger engine," this baby has some power and its exhaust sound better than the other models. And do wait for the 2012, I really wanted LED turn indicators on my mirrors and they are totally worth it, in my opinion. Hope this helps

Thanks man I do love it (except for the USB and phone bluetooth audio stream). Yea everyone asks about those wheels. They are shocked when I say that are stock. Plus get a lot of stares on red lights and highways and I love every bit of it!!!

Wait you can store music on your Edge? I thought the Edge didn't have an hard drive? I also, like cal3thousand, use Google Music and I love it. But if you can store music on the Edge without any hardware, that would be great.

Sorry I am new to this but what is a TSB and how do I download/use this? My Edge Sport, built on 5/31/2011, is running Gen2.8, and do far the problem is that Bluetooth audio doesn't work, even though the phone works absolutely perfect, and USB plays music but no sond comes through speakers. Would love to get some feedback. Other than that, I love my Sport and wouldn't think twice about buying it again. :happy feet:

No I have vanilla android (meaning no custom ROM). It worked fine the first time around. However, after I shut the car down and started it again, it disconnects as I try to play music. I performed the master reset the system myself and the phone began working again. However, the second time around it didn't work and hasn't been working since. The part the confuses me is that the phone part works fine (I'm able to make calls & receive calls), but the music isn't working. I went to the dealer today and he said that he'll be able to fix it.

Ford is doing everything they possibly can to fix MFT. They've put out almost a new release every month trying to fix the problems and a full rewrite is underway. They deserve the blame for allowing the problems in the first place but they're not software developers and they got burned by a vendor. Live and learn. But you can't blame them for not trying to fix the problems. Hey akirby, any idea when the next version is going to come out? Thanks!

It finally came!!! It took 6 weeks exactly to build and ship, and these were the longest 6 weeks ever!!! I picked it up last Thursday and cannot stop driving it. It is ultra smooth (even with those 22s) and ultra quiet. I get plenty of stares, whether at a red light or when I pass someone on the highway. Just have two minor problems. One is that the USB plays music but there is no sound. Second is that my phone works perfectly when I call someone or when a receive a call, but there is no audio stream. When I click on bluetooth stream, it has my device connected but disconnects once I try to play audio. Any suggestions for these problems? Hey I don't plan on getting HIDs either. Its a shame the Sport doesn't come with them. However, those headlights look great and thats why I asked if you installed them or those are the ones that come with it. Thanks for the info. :D
