t0lkman
I'm coming from subaru legacy 2011 sedan, this is my first SUV I feel like the braking path is a little bit long, I mean the car braking slow.... is it ok? Do you also feel it in your Edge?
omar302
Might be a good idea to indicate what Edge you have. Year & trim level, new/used? if used what's the mileage? Generally speaking, the brakes are good on the Edge.

akirby
The new brakes are excellent. The Edge is quite a bit heavier than your legacy sedan.
macbwt
The edge most likely has a 1000lbs disadvantage to the little legacy, plus other factors like ride height figure into the whole equation. Plus you ponied up from 170 or so HP to nearly 315hp Legacy has 60-0 stopping distance of 121 ft on average to a 134 ft on average for the Edge which weighs more. More weight more distance. No way around that part of the physics exam.
