any way to get out of manual selection in sport mode? (without touching the shifter lever)

when the gear selector is in D, gear selection using the paddle shifters is temporary.

when the gear selector is in S, using the paddle shifters puts the transmission into manual selection until you shift out of S.

does anyone know if you can get out of manual mode and back into automatic without touching the gear shift?

Maybe you can "press and hold the + paddle" for a few seconds. This might exit SelectShift.  [This works on an 2019 ST... not sure your MY/Model. Might just be for new 8 speed?]

thanks but that doesn't work and it would defeat the purpose of manually selecting your gears.

i just tried that and unfortunately it didn't work.

 

would be great if it could be enabled with forscan.

 

and in case the info doesn't show in my posts, i have a 2016 Ti 3.5 AWD.
