2020 Edge ST radio swap

not really answering your question but why would you want to do that? i copied all of my hundreds of CDs onto a hard disk and i put them on a USB thumb drive and i have that in my edge. if you copy to FLAC format, it's as good as CD quality. much better than mp3. you don't have to carry around loads of CDs, you can access any song by talking to Sync; "play song stairway to heaven" and it's done. i would never go back to handling CDs. just my two cents.

The ACM is not passcode protected like old-school factory units, however you'll need to program the new FCIM (faceplate) with your car's asbuilt data, as well as the APIM to add CD as a source. You'll want to find an ACM that has the same features (with SAT, HD Radio, etc.), and maybe can get away with not programming that.
