2012 Edge Posted March 28, 2022 Report Share Posted March 28, 2022 I just bought a 2012 edge w only 34k miles in great shape. I keep getting service advancetrac when idling in park. Never while driving. This cat is really awesome but I wish I could solve this issue. The dealer changed the steering tilt sensor but it didn’t fix it. enigma-2 Posted April 18, 2022 Report Share Posted April 18, 2022 (edited) As it only happens at idle, I'd suspect your battery is getting weak or the charging system is not covering the battery losses. First thing I'd check for are corroded or loose battery terminals. Then run a CCA test on the battery and an voltage output test on tbe alternator at idle.
