flymore
I asked Google when I should change the coolant in my 2018 Ford 3.5l. Google AI said every two years. Tested the coolant using the multimeter method described in this video, after 2 years it still reads ok. Should I get my coolant changed? 1004ron
Not sure if its different on your model/year but if its the 3.5L with internal coolant pump then search the forum for the coolant change recommendations - later M/Y's may have addressed the issue?. fishx65 Posted yesterday at 01:26 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 01:26 AM I've always just done a radiator drain and refill every 3rd oil change. Motorcraft yellow concentrate is pretty cheap and the 3.5's internal water pump bearing issue always frightened me. My 2011 SEL 3.5 just hit 160,000 with no issues.
