Hey guys. The front turn signal bulb is apparently out on my 2022 Edge ST AND I was told that I would have to replace the whole assembly costing upwards to $3000. Anyone know about this?

Welcome.

Could you post the source of that information?

Have you checked to see what your owners manual specifies for your Model/Year?

Someone is looking at you like you just got off the boat and they see a big payday coming.

Whoever told you this is full of it.  It is incredibly simple.

Now, the question is, " Are you really talking about just the turn signal bulb? "

The guy would probably have been confused with the "upper level" headlights that come with the 401 package on the ST. They are dubbed as "Adaptive LED Headlamps with LED Amber Light Blade Turn Signals" in the order guide.

The dealership told me this over the phone. This is an Edge ST 2022.

Your video is not my car. I have an Edge ST 2022 with a completely different headlight assembly than the one you provided in your video. I’ve seen your video before and that’s not it Sherlock.

Yes I have the 2022 Edge ST and it appears to be all-in-one assembly piece.  But $3000 for the whole assembly??!

That's exaggerated. The full headlamp (high level) can be found for around $1725. Yes, still expensive. Link to a sample

However, I am surprised that the turn signal is not working. These LEDs normally last for a very long time. LEDs are not usually replaceable separately and the high level headlamps also include adaptive headlights, so they are expected to expensive.

Well, you don't have to be so mean about it   😭   😭   😭

The problem is, if you even bothered to look, which you obviously did not, that OEM ST headlamp assembly can be had for under $800.

The remaining $2200 would be the dealership labor charge to remove two ( 2 ) bolts, unplug a couple of wires and then reverse the process to install the new one.

Are you sure that's the correct headlamp assembly for the OP's specific model and option package?

@Revv my suggestion is to have an autoelec shop check it out in case its a bad connector etc. - as @omar302 its unusual for an LED to fail especially this early.
